This Thing Called Love
In between classes, I usually go to the university's cafetaria to meet up with some friends. At times, they talk about their boyfriends or exs and how much they love them. Problem is that I could never really join into the conversation because I have never been in love. What is this thing called love?

haha. good question. can't really answer cos i've never been in love either but...
to me love is the special feeling you get whenever that special someone's around. knowing that you're loved. knowing that no matter what there's always someone there. is that too romantic an ideal? it's also about honesty, commitment, trust -oh yeah- a really nice quote from le papillon: "love needs no proof. if you need proof, there's no trust. and if there's no trust, there's no love." that's my two cents anyway.  and if the quote's wrong, please correct me. __________________

Love is really weird because I believe it is probably different everytime.
Right now, it is being completely comfortable and trusting in that other person. You love all of their qualities, even the ones you normally wouldn't if it were anyone else. One phone call from them can make your week. One day of not seeing them can make things seem lost. It is really hard to describe. It is more of a feeling than actions and things you can explain and all that. I just know I'd be lost without my boyfriend. He's all I've ever wanted. __________________

It's good... sometimes. And sometimes its the most painful thing in the world. I'm not sure if its overrated though. I mean, the moments you feel with that other person when you are in love are just amazing. They are indescribable. But then there is all the heartbreak and the effort. You constantly have to work at it and sometimes, its just not work the effort.
