Very cute I love black/white cats! Me and my fiance just bought a house last month and we are adopting a 7 year old female Jack Russell terrier named Shortie. We will be getting her this weekend. We are stoked!

Thanks, she had a bit of a rough life with her previous owners and they were going to put her down but she got stole our hearts. I will for sure post a picture of her.

So my lab puppy Minnie (now 10 months old) wants to eat my cats' food, and hot her own dog food. Anyone else have this problem

Yes sort of, I've got this what I refer to as a beast of a chocolate lab/dutch Shepard mix who would eat his own food, my other dog's special senior food and the cats food. the only way to stop him was to start feeding the cat on the counter where he can't reach. When I did this he stopped eating his food all together. So I found basically the same flavor of the cat food for dogs and he's back to eating his own food and sometimes he'll still try to sneak a bite of the senior food But he leaves the cat food alone now.

I'm getting ready to adopt a new doggie, would you guys recommend getting a puppy from a breeder or adopting from a shelter? There are pros and cons to each and I can't decide

I have done both, honestly I will never go to a breeder again. Simply because the shelter animals have it worse off and are more desperate for new homes.
