Off Topic - My Mom Is Evil

I was in town for an eye doctor's appointment on Monday. And I wasn't leaving to come back home until Wednesday. She had a brilliant idea to schedule a dentist appointment for Tuesday morning. She told me it was for just a cleaning. That's all. She promised it was just for a teeth cleaning. Cause I wouldn't have agreed to go if it was anything but. (I am terrified of the dentis) So, I get up way early and am at the dentist at 8 am. The technician called me back. And then asked me if I was ready for my root canal. It turns out my mom lied to me. Sneaky.

I had to have a Root Canal 4 months ago and it still hurts. I'v been back 3 times. First time he drilled the tooth down and said it's cause I was grinding down on it. 2nd time he pulled out everything and re-did it. 3rd time, he pulled everything out and all that is it in now is medicine, that is suppost to help it. IT DOSEN'T I don't know what is going on and why it still hurt's, because correct me if I am wrong, but when you have a root canal done, dosen't that mean your root is dead and gone and your tooth shouldn't hurt anymore?

I think I may get along with your mother.

I'd never let my child ignore dental problems out of fear of dentists. In the end it'd just get worse if ignored. In case you can't tell, I love dentists. My mother would take me all the time growing up. I have this OCD with teeth. I brush and floss countless times a day. They have to be perfect.

I've never had a cavity, and hopefully won't anytime soon.

I can tell a lot about a person by their teeth. Can't tell you how many times I wondered how a person could let someone with nasty teeth kiss them.

Suck it up and be a man! Just make sure they drug you well before they start... Mine kinda forgot that when he pulled the 2 on the right. The left side went slightly better.

What a wuss! Good thing you're not a real woman, or else you'd die during labor.

I had all four of mine removed a few summers ago at my request. They weren't doing any damage, but I have a tiny mouth and they were uber annoying. I felt no pain at all after the procedure, just discomfort. All I ate for a week was canned soup because any solids tended to get stuck in the huge caverns left behind, and I'd have to pick them out with a toothpick.

I said screw that and drank my meals.
