I'm thankful for my family, that my house remodel is done, and for the small things like my pets (that make me happy) 2. How are you going to spend Thanksgiving this year? We'll have a small Thanksgiving dinner at Dad's, and then I'll go to Texas with Tommy to spend time with his family 3. Will you be shopping on Black Friday? Maybe 4. Other than turkey, what is your favourite Thanksgiving food? Broccoli and cheese casserole  5. What do you usually do with the leftover turkey? Dad makes sandwiches out of it __________________

Walking Dead is something I finally got into, so I'm rewatching from the beginning. I LOVE the Twilight Zone(A lifelong obsession). 1. What is your favorite Christmas (Holiday) memory from your childhood? Living in my old house, we had a furnished basement, with a perfectly cut out section, where our Christmas(fake, of course) tree always stood; decorated, year round, just waiting for Christmas Eve, when we switched on the lights. My entire extended family would come to my house on Christmas Eve to open gifts. We even had a full bar!! I don't ever remember having a bedtime during family gatherings of any sort, and these memories go all the way back to my toddler years. It was such an awesome time in my life. 2. How did you spend the holidays this year? I work in seafood during the "Feast of the 7 Fishes" and it's just non-stop craziness from Black Friday all the way through the new year. So I worked up until Christmas Eve at about 2pm. Which isn't so bad. I'm still out early. Christmas Eve was spent with my mom, my 2nd mom of sorts, and my mom's friend at the Outback tossin' em back and eating delicious, chain restaurant prepared steaks. Christmas Day, my mother&father and I spent the day cleaning up for company. We celebrate our family party now that all the kiddies are adults, the weekend after the holiday (unless of course the holiday falls on the weekend) so most don't have to go to work in the morning. Saturday, my extended family came by, and exchanged gifts, and had a great time. 3. Do you put up and decorate a Christmas tree? If so, how is it decorated this year? Well, I still live at home with mom&dad, but we live in a different place. A much smaller place, so for the last 20 years, we've alternated the holiday with my Uncle&Aunt in Queens. The years we don't host, have occasionally been Christmas tree free. When we do set up our still fake tree, sometimes I help and sometimes I don't. Usually if my sister is over to help, I'll make them wait for me, but this past year, my parents set it up together while I was at work. 4. What is your favorite holiday food? Baked ziti and my mom's stromboli. 5. How many holiday events (parties, dinners) will you attend this year? Just mine for Christmas, and my friend Liz hosted a New Year's party. |
