I imagine it has been such a shock. Had she been in good health prior?

I've lost both of my grandmas, and they were both tough. However, each battled health issues for years and were bed-ridden prior to their deaths, so we knew it was coming. I'm not sure it makes it much easier seeing them struggle like that, but it gave us time to accept it. Sudden deaths are very hard, as there is no preparation

Did any of the bunnies see the star of Bethlehem, Christmas star, conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn last night? I did I didn't have a telescope, but it was still cool to see with the naked eye... small, but bright with almost a cross across it, I guess from the two stars being so close together.

No, it was snowing here so the sky was blocked with snowstorm clouds for us in BC.

We will make the best of it. I'm giving some of the food to my parents in law, who will have to stay at home together.

I do feel lucky that I have my kids and husband here to celebrate with, but I can't help the disappointment of our current situation. Plus the fact my county is turning into a lorry park is quite stressful too. Some of them have been stuck in their cabs for three days now with very little facilities.

It was cloudy here last night, unfortunately.

I hope all the bunnies had a very Merry Christmas.

We just did a small Christmas Eve at my house with my sister and her hubby, including presents, appetizers for dinner, and a few card games.

Then Christmas Day my two step-daughters and one son-in-law came to my house and I cooked ham, mashed potatoes, mac-and-cheese, brocolli and rice casserole, as well as a pecan and apple pie. We had way too much food Tommy and I will be eating leftovers the next few days

Today my sister and I are meeting my aunt to exchange presents. Us three usually hit the stores early today for all the Boxing Day sales and spend the day shopping, visiting and eating. But with the coronovirus so bad right now, we aren't doing that. We're at least getting to see one another, though.

That's nice, Carol. I'm glad you got to spend the time with family, I will have to wait until next year for that, it seems....

Plus I can't go to sales because all the shops are shut. I was thinking of looking online for a new vacuum cleaner though.
