Except for migraines, I am doing well. I had 3 surgeries since I "chatted" with you last. Two knee surgeries and last Summer a total Left shoulder replacement surgery. I had so many rotator cuff tears that were repaired that the surgeon needed to use my bicep tendons and ligaments for a rotator cuff replacement. Have so much less joint pain now.

My mom and her sister were diagnosed with COVID-19 a month ago. Both were hospitalized. My aunt had heart issues and spent 4 days in the ICU. She then was discharged to her daughter's home for hospice care. She was put on oxygen and receiving morphine one drop at a time for comfort. She was agitated. The morphine calmed her down quickly and she began to sleep peacefully. She had a short nap. My cousin got her set up for FaceTime with her two sons who live in other cities. After this was done, she indicated how happy she was to be at her daughter's home. The next morning, my other cousin arrived early in the morning to join her older sister. They are wearing protective gear. My mom returned to the Senior living place where she and her sister were living. The residents had been confined to their rooms since June 28th. The same day the first resident tested + for COVID-19. The whole place was put on lock down in the middle of March when someone tested positive who lived near the Senior living place. They live in Central California. Me and my family live two States North. We have stayed healthy and have not gotten the virus. We know 4 other people who have gotten it 3 females and one male. ages 51-72. All recovered Two of them had pneumonia and was on more than one antibiotic. Took over a month just to get over the pneumonia. And another month to get some energy back. A very slow healing process.

Wow Karen, so sorry for your relatives for getting it, but a huge thing that they recovered and that everyone that got it has made a full recovery! My brother got it back in April, he is a paedriatrics doctor and the baby he treated had Co-Vid 19. We were worried because of my sister in law and my 1.5 year old nephew, they had some symptoms but we do not know if they ever got it, and my brother only got tested recently and we found out if he had it, he wasn't sure but as a doctor he felt like he knew. He was not hospitalised but missed work for 2 weeks, and then made a full recovery.

It's all good now as I'll be seeing my brother, sister in law and nephew this week for a few days I worked throughout lockdown, my class were mostly off, but we looked after the key worker children and then my class returned in July in small numbers. It was difficult. They had a lot of difficulties adjusting to the new normal.
