Claire Glad you are finally on the mend.

Yes I am relieved I got the medicine, too...Seems like if it isn't one thing it is another...I would much prefer not to take any medications....it isn't my favourite thing to do....but in is a necessity with my ailments... Wouldn't be able to function at all with out any medications.....

Wish sometimes I could go back in time and relive my happier healthier childhood when I was two years old. I remember a lot of things from that year!!!

Glad you’re feeling better, Claire!

That’s insane that you remember things from that age, Karen. You have great memory.

I remember some things when I was two. And I didn't feel like a toddler, from my recollection Actually, my first memory was when I was 10 months old, and I didn't seem to think like a "baby" either. I remember getting an idea in my head, trying it out and then failing. The only thing that reminds me I was actually a baby in that memory is I can remembering wearing a diaper.

Damn. I wish my memory was as good as that. I think my first memory that hasn’t come from a story someone has told me, is about 6 or 7.

Do you have many more memories from then?

Yeah, but I am Aspie, one symptom is an unusually detailed memory! And that I definitely have!

The only other "baby" memory I have is laying down on a church pew, drinking a bottle!

When I was two, I remember being at my grandparent's house smelling second hand smoke, and playing with their dog and my cousin, going to my cousin's daycare with her and wetting my pants in the kitchen, and listening to my record player stories... which I memorized the entire record, including every cough a character would do!

Yeah, it almost makes me wonder how someone could have a blank on their life until around 2nd grade.

The only problem with a good life memory is I remember the sad-bad things too.

Sometimes I scare my parents cause I can recall their mistakes when they thought we were too young to remember, haha. I remember my mom trying to make me get in a bathtub that my brother had peed in. And my dad taking us into the back of an open truck on a highway. All their parenting sins,

Ahaha I bet it’s fun being able to use those things against them now that you’re older. “Remember that time you tried to put me in pee water?”

Yep! My memory can be a weapon used against someone! But I'm not really that evil!

(for the record I didn't get in that bath, but I had to dip a cloth into the water and gingerly moistened myself with the pee water cause I was a kid and had no choice but I was cringing the whole time, soooo gross!!!! I went to bed covered with a light pee mist)

Light pee mist Your way of telling stories creates such great imagery.

I guess I should seriously write my autobiography. Sure, maybe the actual stories would be mundane, but I can make them entertaining I’m a fairly good creative writer.

I took a sleep-eze pill and I'm thinking it's starting to kick in my brain so I won't post too much now so I don't start posting weird with typos

hoping I sleep all through the night for once.

I couldn't agree more with you being creative, Leanne.

I've ordered some Melatonin tablets from America because you can't get them in the UK for some reason. We just have herbal remedies. I'm so looking forward to trying them and getting more than 4 hours sleep. Has anyone tried them?

Thanks Jade, its nice to be getting some progress, for sure. This injury has been so painful!

After a car crash I was put on sleeping tablets for a short period, but I've no idea which kind they were, that was 18 years ago. They did work and stopped the terrible flashbacks I was getting.
