I leave in 30 minutes for the doctor's to get the shot into my shoulders. My doctor know I am in pain whenever I call and need a shot since the shot themself are uncomfortable to receive. But being a nurse and not afraid of needles...I can hadle it....I am better these days with dental needles...those still freak me out because they go into your mouth and go into soft gum tissue.to block nerves...

It is 30 Degrees F or 0 C outside now. I hurt all over. I'll make myself some hot coffee mocha.

I can’t beleive I’m missing work after a 3 day weekend cause my car battery died and I have to replace it. They needed me today and stupid car failed! makes me look unreliable even tho it’s not my fault. Grr. Hate that!

Back from getting shots of cortizone in both shoulders....Much better Range of Motion!!! Gonna take a nap before going back to the same building for another appointment for my blood pressure and a blood draw. I tried to be seen early while I was already there but they were busy until my afternoon appointment....well, I tried to get it over with all at once.

Thanks Jade!!!! Had a grate nap!!! Almost forgt what day it was I slept so deeply since the numbing spray was still working so well on my shoulders where my kind and cute doctor gave me shots(this one is cute but don't consider handsome...he has 2 adorable girls)I surprised thhe doctor and his assistant wis valentine candy and Valentine Cards. "you didn't need to do this...you are in such pain coming for needed help". My reply was I already had it ready to bring in later in the day when I come in for my bllood pressure follow up visit and a blood draw. "You always spoil us so"....Well, my reply...I appreciate how you assist with keeping my pain down and treat me so well. My tangible way in saying THANK YOU!!!

Good news, I had a whole night with no pain for the first time.

I'm sure they understand, Leanne. It's annoying, but these things happen.

I hate needles in the mouth. I avoid them if I can.

Hope you had good Pancake Days, Jade and Strawberry. We got totally stuffed on pancakes last night!

Karen, I'm glad things went well. Needles don't bother me at all. Even dental ones.

Leanne, sorry you had such a hard time with your car. As for work, life happens-it doesn't make you unreliable.

I had the opposite. Driving went well, but grocery shopping threw my hip out of alignment. I just need to keep up with my PT exercises at home, and be patient I guess.

And I did thank, Claire. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was all pancakes. Mixed it up between crepe ones and American.

Such a beautiful day today! It's been lightly raining since 6am this morning. Just started snowing and I'm tucked up inside with the log fire on and a book. Atmosphere is lovely with how dark it is outside. Happy Valentines to all who celebrate too! Dodging social media today full of everyone in competition with each other.

no snow here yet...been snowing an hour north of us. Just a little colder up there....I am ready to get back to sleep....glad to be going back to my own bed this time...fell asleep in the reclyner chair...since I don't need the C-PAP machine anymore to sleep, don't have to fall asleep in my bed only anymore.
