It was great. Went out Friday night and had some fun. My Monday not so much. Had a worse case scenario interview and then found out my next door neighbour was convicted today of being a rapist and that there is a man in my town who has been sent to prison for stabbing his 8 year old daughter to death. So it's been a very bleak and depressing day.


And omg! I love Bones! Hilary is amazing.

Just got home from my first outing. Got through 1/3 of the grocery store, so I think that was good. Exhausted and hurting now, but I'll recover.

They've both been convicted so I won't be seeing one for at least 15 years, the other got a life sentence. I'm moving out of Birmingham next month though, so I'm very keen to start afresh.

You've made brilliant progress being able to go shopping. I'm very proud of you.

Yes we've found a newly built two bedroom property with a big garden for our dogs in another city. We're very excited to get away from family and everything that's holding us down.

Jade, I can imagine it would make you feel physically sick . One time a man came to my daughter's school and flashed the girls during recess. It ended up being the neighbor of the music teacher. This was a small private Christian school. I got a call from the principal telling me what happened and that my daughter might be upset for a while. She was afraid to be alone in the shower for a while and in her room for a few days. She was in 4th grade. Most of the girls were grouped together playing and just laughed at the man. My daughter was by herself when she was flashed. In sociology we studied how people react differently to the same things when in groups vs when alone....here I went again...writing another novel...
I always have some story/experience to share.....

Ergh it's so horrible! Why do people like that even exist? It's sick.

Yes it is horrible. the boys were playing on the other side of the playground and missed it all. Since the music teacher figured out who it was he was able to turn the man in and the police picked him up. Caught him before he entered his apartment. Still with his long coat on over his birthday suit. It was obviously him. It was close to the school, too...

Two months ago it was announced that their was a pedophile living opposite the school my better half's little sister went to. On the walls of his bedroom were hundreds of photos of the children that went there. It was disgusting to find out.
