Getting to 10,000 Posts #4184: Autumn is slowly coming to an end and Winter is approaching.
 Banner by Sweet Embrace "  , DON'T  !"Intro: Welcome! This is the Getting to 10,000 Posts Thread, otherwise known as The Bunny Thread. The purpose of this thread is to discuss your current posting goal, whether it be getting to 10,000 posts or getting to 1,000 posts. It also serves as a place to celebrate your posting milestones every time you reached a certain posting goal. This thread is called The Bunny Thread because working towards a posting goal is like the Energizer Bunny who keeps going and going and going... All members of this thread are considered bunnies. In order to become a bunny, you have to have 30 or more posts on one of the "Getting to 10,000 Posts" threads, or 10 or more posts on three different "Getting to 10,000 Posts" threads. When you see that you are qualified to be a bunny, you can either contact the thread starter to add your name or you can contact one of the moderators of this board to add you. Rules: The bunnies are allowed to wander off topic to randomly chat with each other when not discussing their posting goals. However, please keep in mind that the main topic of this thread is still about reaching your posting goals. While you can randomly chat to get to know each other better, please remember that the topic of this thread is still about posting goals, so this is a topic that you should get back to on a regular basis when you have reached a certain milestone or you are about to reach another posting goal. As a bunny, please remember to follow these rules: 1. Just because this thread is about posting goals, it doesn't mean this thread is about posting anything to increase your post count. Please do not come to this thread to star post to increase your post count. Star posting refers to either repeatedly making posts in a row when no one else posted yet and making posts on a regular basis that says very little. For example, do not always post with just smilies. Once or twice is okay, but not all the time where when you make an appearance, it's always just one smilie, only smilies or you are just saying hi to people on the thread, one person for each post. If you have nothing much to say, then don't post. Don't come to the thread lurking, posting smilies or comments with one or two words here and there, waiting for a conversation that would interest you. Such posting tactics would be considered star posting, something that is not allowed on Fan Forum. 2. When a bunny thread is nearing 300 posts, anyone who would like to start the new thread should say so on the old one. When starting a new thread, simply quote the first post, copy it and paste it on the new thread. Remember to remove the quote brackets. When someone already volunteered to make the new thread and the old thread reaches or passes 300 posts before the new thread is being posted, please stop posting on the old thread. Do not reply to any posts and wait for the new thread to be up. If the thread already reached 300 posts and no one volunteered, do not post unless you are volunteering to make the new thread. When the thread has passed 300 posts, please do not continue your conversations or keep asking "Who will make the new thread?" if you do not plan to make the new thread. At this point, the only person who should be posting on the old thread should be the person volunteering, either to inform everyone s/he will be making the new thread or to post a link to the new thread if s/he already volunteered earlier. 3. When you are the one making the new thread, once the new thread is up, you are telling mods the old one can be closed. Do not open a new thread first, then go back to the old thread to quote and copy the first post. Even if your computer is slow in loading a new thread, do not start the new thread with posts like "To be edited later." Even if it is slow, everyone can wait. Make sure the first post is ready before submitting. If after submitting the new thread and you notice an error while the old thread is already closed so you can't copy and paste again, you can PM a mod to ask them to fix it. 4. Do not add anything to the first post of this thread without asking a mod and getting approval in advance. The only exception would be adding the name of a new bunny to The Energizer Bunnies list and updating the existing links. Other than that, if you have a suggestion for any changes or something to be added to the first post, please ask a mod by PM. We would review your idea and get back to you as soon as possible. 5. Due to the large number of people who regularly post on this thread, sometimes conflicts are unavoidable. However, please keep in mind that if you have a problem with a poster, do not confront them on this thread. Take it to PM. You can either talk to them directly by PM or you can PM a mod about the situation. Please remember that you would likely meet a lot of different people on this thread and disagreements could happen. Please remember to stay respectful and not to attack other posters or to criticize anyone openly on this thread. If you would like to report a situation on the board that made you feel uncomfortable or offended, please report it to a mod by quoting the posts or links to specific thread pages. Be as specific as you can so we can more accurately assess the situation. Since this thread goes by quickly, it would help us a lot if you pinpoint where exactly did problems arise. It would be easier and faster for us to get to it. We would very much appreciate your help and cooperation. Thanks for opening the thread!
 I have the day off today and I feel discombobulated several times this morning already, feeling like it's Saturday and it's actually a weekday! Which means I should go out to the stores cause being a weekday should be less busy than Saturday! My last days at my locations went fine, it was weird though cause I hugged 3 co workers, including the principal   I don't usually hug people at work but they were standing around me to see me off and I guess that was inevitable I also was given a gift card to a bookstore which was thoughtful cause it goes with what I do, work with books!  got a paper cut opening the envelope though... I always get those handling books too, haha. KIM! no one posts here since 4 am and then within two minutes of each other we post together at the same time.... I'm calling Mulder and Scully.... obviously they will want to investigate our brain connections.__________________

Hi everyone!
I drove to ASDA to take back some pyjamas I bought earlier this week. The top was the right size, but the bottoms were the next size up. Glad your last day went well, Leanne, apart from that paper cut! Ouch! Good you got to chill out today.  How's your day been, Kim? __________________

Leanne with you being off, I can understand you thinking it's Saturday. I'm wondering why I've thought it's Saturday all day.  And also we have in common that I should have gone to the store today, but I didn't. Think you'll make it out? I'm glad your last day was good. Plus, added bonus of the gift card, and the owie of the papercut, which isn't as good.  We must have ESP with each other. Claire glad you got the pjs sorted out. I'm good  I just got up. I was up at 5am, but went back to bed at 9am, and just got up about an hour ago.  is taking a bit to load for me, but not as bad as before.__________________

Well,
is really slow trying to get into PM’s!I’m about to have my favorite shrimp wonton noodle soup... now that I’m changing schools, I will never pass the grocery store where I’ve seen it to buy!  I really hope a store around me sells it!Yum, I’m hungry! Yeah, Kim, I do think I’ll go out cause I need some new dishes that are smaller for my portable dishwasher I have cause I won’t be able to use the upstairs one! And a laundry basket and maybe one of those shoe pocket things that you hang over the door. And coffee! I feel weird without it! Also the vet around 3 pm! __________________

I hope a store near you will sell it too. Are you familiar with the area where you'll be working? I have one of those pocket things you want to hang over your door. I'm giving it away. This is TOO funny and bizarre! I just emptied it last night. I hope you find what you're looking for. Give Sony a hug for me. I hope that goes well.  my typos are killing me today.__________________

is not working well at the moment for sure! I'm sorry you didn't sleep too well, Kim.  Glad you're having your favourite soup, Leanne. I hope you can find it near to you. I got my fitbit working with the other app, so it's working fine for me now. That's good as I was quite frustrated with it this morning! __________________

Kim, now the shoe pocket thing, very weird! I once found the soup being sold at a 7-11 convienience store of all places but not at any local grocery store yet.. maybe I need to look harder. I’m sort of familiar with the new area I’m in.. when I first started I began at the school just down the street I’m going back to my beginning neighbourhood! It’s noon here! __________________

Our day is definitely way off today, Claire. That's so cool you can keep up with your steps that way. I wasn't sure what it kept track of. Leanne I had all my craft stuff in it, no shoes. I didn't realize it was in your neighborhood.  I knew you wouldn't be commuting any more, but didn't know how hard you had to go. You're our mid-day girl. and now JINX us Claire!__________________

It keeps track of how much activity you're doing basically, Kim. It even knows when I've walked up and down some stairs, at least some of the time it does. It measures your heart rate so it can tell the difference between walking and running at that kind of thing. It's more accurate than me guessing how much I'm doing in the day.
