I would be further along if it weren't for the"professionals" last week that messed my foot up!!! And caused me additional pain.

That sucks. So when do you start regular rehab, not just rehab to recover from surgery?

I begin PT next week down the street twice a week.

I fired my doctor yesterday. Told him I wold be finding someone else who did not feel Loazepam was too dangerous for me to be on. I told him I have been near death several times since he abruptly took me off it and the substitute meds have awful side effects Lorazepam do't have. In the 20 years on Lorazepam, I was never near death like I have since March of this year. I have experienced migraines like never before....even the neurologist wanted to use Lorazepam for me but since you don't wat me back on Lorazepam...I continue to have severe migranes.
I will have to disagree with you about Lorazepam.....thank you for trying to care but since you took over my care, my life/health has not improved. My husband hasn't bee sleeping well and he has been having to pay out of pocket all of the specialists you have been sending me to that aren't covered under his insurance. We had to refinance this Summer and take a loan just to pay medical bills since being taken off Lorazepam. A tiny pill. 1 mg, a med I didn't even need everyday but when I did, would prevent me from going into manic stages , help me fall asleep and stay asleep all night. Would wake up alert and completely energetic.....ot groggy like now and feeling like I haven't even slept. The med only cost us $2.00 a month. Something my husband could afford. My husband works part time so he can take care of our severely autistic son. He happens to receive ezcellent insurance coverage for me but not being utilized well since you took me off Lorazepam!!! I know you don't ever want me to mention Lorazepam with you again but you don't even try to see that it is still the safest and most effect med with my brain chemistry. Dr "N" knew that. He worked with me for 20 years all while I have bee on it..........You will never convince me it is not safe or effective for me.

Hi Kim!

I had a pretty good work day and got some stuff done! I was also fed well, they gave me chocolate in my mailbox and they have the staff sub sandwiches from Subway (and I took 3 half sandwiches for home!)

Now I’m having a 3 day weekend and I love Thanksgiving cause it means good food

That's good, Karen about the PT. The lorazepam, if Dr's start to get the feeling you're changing Dr's to agree with you on needing the anxiety medicine...just be careful, or no Dr. anywhere is going to prescribe it for you. I'd think after 20 years it wouldn't have any effect on you, whatsoever. I have to change meds every few years, because they stop working at some point, or the dosage has to be adjusted.. Your body doesn't react, because it's become numb to it.

Leanne! HI! Oh yum! Now I want a Subway sandwich, and I'm too lazy to get dressed and go get it! It's so nice they do that for you, and chocolate-can't go wrong there.

What are you going to do for the weekend?? I'm watching The Fog right now, and hoping more classic horror movies come on after it.

Glad you had a good workday. And. for the 3 day weekend for you!

ETA ooh- the Howling is on next.

Kim, what Subway sandwich do you like? I like getting the tuna sub. Roast beef is pretty good too or the meatball one, sometimes that just hits the spot!

I love the original Fog, I told you this in my email tho!
What station is playing your horror movies?

Did you read my memory of watching the “Howling?” Haha. That’s a pretty good werewolf movie but probably not the best one for a 7-8 yr old girl!

I do remember what you said about the Howling, and that story. Yeah, it was the original "The Fog" . It's the only version I like. It's on SONY HD. One of those weird channels we get, for paying $5 extra a month.

Tuna and meatball are the ONLY Subway I'll eat. We would get along so well hanging out, too.

Yeah, I think we’d do well together! Funny how we like similar things just randomly!

My iPad keyboard is still confusing me. Ack, need to find the right one I had before

I am curious to look up my listings tonight and see if anything Horror is on tonight. Maybe I’ll slip in my “Dark Night of the Scarecrow” DVD!

I like that "random" similarities. We have SO many of those. At least the woodpecker isn't around right now.

I hate changes like yours. I resist change anyway I can when it comes to my computer. I bought a restored computer, with Windows 7, so it was easy, and I could avoid the Windows 10 update. I hope you find the setting for the way it used to be.

Ooh, that sounds like a good DVD to watch. I don't have that one on DVD. I turned off the Howling. Just not in the mood for that movie.

Only have 6 more crates to go. 2 are NASCAR stuff of my favorite driver-just going to pick my favorite diecasts out, and give away the rest. 2 Christmas crates, which I will get rid of most of.

When you say “crates” I keep thinking of wooden crates with slats. I’m sure that’s not what you mean tho, is it?

I have Windows 7 or something on my iMac and I’m afraid if I switch to it, it will try to force update to Windows 10... which one computer at work has and I’m not even used to navigating in it.

I know I’m still automatically swishing my finger up on my iPad screen to change my screen brightness and now I’m supposed to double click the home button and my brain just can’t wrap around this change,

And now I’m an even worse Typer now cause my fingers keep hitting different keys now by mistake.

Haha no woodpecker today, but I’m expecting it to return on my mornings I can sleep in this weekend!

I think they may be what you call "storage bins" or something like that. They're hard plastic, with plastic lids, about 2 feet deep, and 2 feet across, but 3 feel long. Not exact measurements, just a guess.

I have Windows 10 on my other computer. The one I can't really use any more. It updated forcefully, even though I kept saying "no".

don't worry about your typing. I'm so used to reading online, that I generally don't even notice typos, I just see it as the word it was meant to be. Except for my own posts, of course.

Our woodpeckers (we have 3 now) don't seem to come till late in the morning, or early afternoon. Soon it will be too cold, and they'll go away.

Mom shared their dinner with me, so I had some roasted potatoes and carrots, but not the meat. The meat I couldn't get my fork into I'll have some pizza bites in a while.

I’m more of an “Apple” computer user now than a “Windows” one. 🍎 🖥

I have some options for dinner, the half Sub sandwiches, a bit of soup (broccoli and cheddar? Or potato and bacon) or cook a seafood pasta bake I have in my freezer.

My woodpecker likes to peck in the early morning around 7:30 or 8 am. But it is getting colder so I hope it flies south.

I forgot Friday’s, that there is always a “Bones” marathon most of the evening, I might just play those!

I've never used anything other than Windows.

Sounds like you have some yummy choices. Kevin just gave me a little of the fried okra he made. It was so good. Will probably have some pizza bites right before bed. Have some pepperoni ones.

tell him you don't need an alarm clock on the weekends.

Cool that you have Bones. I'm watching racing qualifying right now, and then I think I'll watch Once live. I'll still record it though, in case I miss anything.

I'm chilly, and it's only 66 degrees, which is still not cold, at all.

It’s cold here and raining outside so it’s defintiely acting like fall outside and now I feel cozy cause my gas fireplace works and will make it all warm here and I put on my wool socks!

I’ve never had fried okra before in my life. I hear of soul food and southern cooking and wish I could have real life made true southern dishes once and a while. Yum. In Vegas, I tried some “southern” food like butter flavoured grits, taco soup and biscuits with chocolate gravy!
