I meant you got it in the post fast, Karen. I don't expect I'll get it before Monday.

Sorry to hear you're not sleeping Leanne.

I really need to get some lunch.

I am still up, too....my pain began to return and remembered I forgot totake my night meds before coming to my room at 2'ish when the new thread started. No wonder I am not asleep yet!!! I just took it and my husband said my alarm was going. I couldn't hear it since I have my headphones on listening to Josh sing "You're Still You" My alarm had fallen on the floor so many times that even on loud I couldn't hear it. My husband has said for a few months now that he would buy me a new one but hasn't yet. We have had just one car since January of 2009. I was in a near fatal accident in June 2008 and our Jeep was totaled. Then on New Year's Eve when my husband was on his way home from work, someone new to the area didn't realize my husband made a complete stop. She thought there was a Yield sign at the bottom of the hill and rear ended our Taurus...totaling that car!!! Because my husband is the only one working and just part time, we have just one car. What the our insurance company gave us for both cars was exactly what we got our "new" car for. So, my husband just signed the two checks over to the car place. The original owners put just 30 thousand miles on this car. They used it just on weekends. They were trading it in towards a Cadillac!!! And the owner of the lot really liked Dean and felt bad for us. He talked about God a little bit. Usually my husband doesn't trust businessmen/people claiming to be Christians...he has been burned before. Even though we are Christians. We just don't go around bragging/boasting about it.

Did your accident make it hard for you to drive Karen, physically or mentally?

I've been in a few crashes, I've kept driving afterwards, but it does affect you. I had nightmares and was on sleeping pills for a while..

I hope your pain is going again, Karen.

no....no problems at all with driving Pschologically. The next morning I called the lady in charge of the church e-mail prayer chain. And then she sent it out to the mass group list all at once and 500 people began praying that day. So, I know that helped immensely with my healing. My left knee was already scheduled for surgery for the end of July. Good thing because my left foot and knee/leg was stuck in the door. Took 15 minutes to get it unstuck!!! Took the firefighters approx 30 minutes to cut the metal roof off the top of the car. That was after breaking the windshield & sunroof. The rear window was already broken from the car's final crash into a power pole.

It's really awful you should have had to go through that. Not least, the long-term problems it's caused you.

Thanks It's one of the standard ones for XF but I really love it.

Fortunately I have never been in a car crash even though I drive a lot... and in Germany (you know, the motorways without speed limits ) so I can only imagine how horrible it must be.

ETA off again. Hope everyone who should be asleep is having sweet dreams. Off to the gym now.

bye for now Kia...I put some roasted chicken in my big crock pot for 8 hours on high. Then it will switch over to low then warm. I added my favourite seasonings. Once the basic soup is made...I can make a variety of soups...some with rice...potatoes...pasta...and add whatever fresh vegetables I want, too!!!

Our family loves mac n cheese!!! I like to make home made with cheddar cheese...not the yellow powdered cheese you mix with milk and boil.
When I was little, my mom made the kind with powdered cheese and I loved it...didn't know the difference in taste.

I like both versions, but prefer homemade since real cheese is always better than whatever the Kraft orange powder really is
