Getting to 10,000 Posts #4157: June is busting out all over Bunny Land!!!
  Banners by Joce and Carlos. "  , DON'T  !"Intro: Welcome! This is the Getting to 10,000 Posts Thread, otherwise known as The Bunny Thread. The purpose of this thread is to discuss your current posting goal, whether it be getting to 10,000 posts or getting to 1,000 posts. It also serves as a place to celebrate your posting milestones every time you reached a certain posting goal. This thread is called The Bunny Thread because working towards a posting goal is like the Energizer Bunny who keeps going and going and going... All members of this thread are considered bunnies. In order to become a bunny, you have to have 30 or more posts on one of the "Getting to 10,000 Posts" threads, or 10 or more posts on three different "Getting to 10,000 Posts" threads. When you see that you are qualified to be a bunny, you can either contact the thread starter to add your name or you can contact one of the moderators of this board to add you. Rules: The bunnies are allowed to wander off topic to randomly chat with each other when not discussing their posting goals. However, please keep in mind that the main topic of this thread is still about reaching your posting goals. While you can randomly chat to get to know each other better, please remember that the topic of this thread is still about posting goals, so this is a topic that you should get back to on a regular basis when you have reached a certain milestone or you are about to reach another posting goal. As a bunny, please remember to follow these rules: 1. Just because this thread is about posting goals, it doesn't mean this thread is about posting anything to increase your post count. Please do not come to this thread to star post to increase your post count. Star posting refers to either repeatedly making posts in a row when no one else posted yet and making posts on a regular basis that says very little. For example, do not always post with just smilies. Once or twice is okay, but not all the time where when you make an appearance, it's always just one smilie, only smilies or you are just saying hi to people on the thread, one person for each post. If you have nothing much to say, then don't post. Don't come to the thread lurking, posting smilies or comments with one or two words here and there, waiting for a conversation that would interest you. Such posting tactics would be considered star posting, something that is not allowed on Fan Forum. 2. When a bunny thread is nearing 300 posts, anyone who would like to start the new thread should say so on the old one. When starting a new thread, simply quote the first post, copy it and paste it on the new thread. Remember to remove the quote brackets. When someone already volunteered to make the new thread and the old thread reaches or passes 300 posts before the new thread is being posted, please stop posting on the old thread. Do not reply to any posts and wait for the new thread to be up. If the thread already reached 300 posts and no one volunteered, do not post unless you are volunteering to make the new thread. When the thread has passed 300 posts, please do not continue your conversations or keep asking "Who will make the new thread?" if you do not plan to make the new thread. At this point, the only person who should be posting on the old thread should be the person volunteering, either to inform everyone s/he will be making the new thread or to post a link to the new thread if s/he already volunteered earlier. 3. When you are the one making the new thread, once the new thread is up, you are telling mods the old one can be closed. Do not open a new thread first, then go back to the old thread to quote and copy the first post. Even if your computer is slow in loading a new thread, do not start the new thread with posts like "To be edited later." Even if it is slow, everyone can wait. Make sure the first post is ready before submitting. If after submitting the new thread and you notice an error while the old thread is already closed so you can't copy and paste again, you can PM a mod to ask them to fix it. 4. Do not add anything to the first post of this thread without asking a mod and getting approval in advance. The only exception would be adding the name of a new bunny to The Energizer Bunnies list and updating the existing links. Other than that, if you have a suggestion for any changes or something to be added to the first post, please ask a mod by PM. We would review your idea and get back to you as soon as possible. 5. Due to the large number of people who regularly post on this thread, sometimes conflicts are unavoidable. However, please keep in mind that if you have a problem with a poster, do not confront them on this thread. Take it to PM. You can either talk to them directly by PM or you can PM a mod about the situation. Please remember that you would likely meet a lot of different people on this thread and disagreements could happen. Please remember to stay respectful and not to attack other posters or to criticize anyone openly on this thread. If you would like to report a situation on the board that made you feel uncomfortable or offended, please report it to a mod by quoting the posts or links to specific thread pages. Be as specific as you can so we can more accurately assess the situation. Since this thread goes by quickly, it would help us a lot if you pinpoint where exactly did problems arise. It would be easier and faster for us to get to it. We would very much appreciate your help and cooperation. Leanne: I left my room for a minute and asked my husband never asked at the pharmacy if there was anything ready for me or not(there was).
 That was the whole reason for him going to that particular "warehouse" type store called Sam's Club. So, I had to borrow one from my son...at least we are prescribe one med the same and the same dose. I will give him one of mine when mine gets picked up tomorrow.  I will quickly type up the true story from a family news letter Highlights from 2013!!! At least in my next post!!! Hope it will be worth your wait and you can go to sleep laughing about 2 funny stories!!!  __________________

Since it directly from the newsletter, it will be fairly concise. You will see my writing style for family newsletters that I usually mail out to 175 people. I cut the list down from 225 to 175 about 7 years ago because those friends or relatives hadn't responded by phone, card or letter for over 20 years. That was much less $ in stamps, too!!!
August 2014: February 7th, I went to the ER for stitches as a result of my front teeth cutting through the skin under my lower lip after slipping on the Black clothing dye Samuel poured onto the basement tile floor. He wanted is Black pillow Blacker!!! I slipped on the three wet steps going into his large bed room. Slid across the floor and fell hitting my chin hard onto the headboard of the bed Samuel moved. Landed on my knees and was instantly a bloody mess with bruises on my arm,legs and chin.  The ER doctor did an excellent did an excellent skilled job sewing up my lower lip/chin area for being a jagged cut by teeth. My son wasn't trying to hurt his mom...he knew his dad used this dye in the washing machine to keep his black jeans and black T-shirts nice and Black and not have that faded look!!!Will type up #2 in next post. __________________

Well, that sounds painful! And messy, how do you clean up dye? Doesn't that stain?
I've never had stitches in my life (except from surgery) I sort of blocked that memory out until I wrote I never had stitches I hope to never need or get stitches again! __________________

Yes!!! Now #2 also happened almost 2 months later.
March 28th: The police came to our house around 8:30 AM. Before Julie and I realized it, Samuel had pushed out a basement window, climbed up onto an indoor ledge of his bedroom and went outside; leaving his clothes and streaked through the neighborhood in the rain!!! A neigh called 911(emergency) Because it was raining hard and Samuel wasn't currently wearing any ID on him(bracelet or necklace) the police called for an ambulance to take him to the nearest hospital ER. They thought he was high on drugs since he was running naked in the streets, wasn't responding when being talked to. Seemed to laugh inappropriately and seemed just too comfortable being naked in public!!! Once the 3 police men found out he was severely autistic, nonverbal but very vocal, knows Sign Language, and was Bipolar, everything made sense. They then called this info into the ER doctors. I was promptly called by the social worker. Samuel was found just leaving the exit of the ER running still in his hospital gown. She wanted me to know that Samuel would have one ankle and wrist softly restrained!!! His room was in front of the Nurse's Station where a nurse and a doctor is stationed at all times...our son is clever and knows how to sneak out even when people are "watching" :rotf: And Samuel laughed the whole way to the hospital in the ambulance!!! He enjoyed the ride and the noise of the siren and the flashing lights!!! To him, it was just another great adventure!!! __________________

 Another reason why I never have had kids. I think stitches all over my chest is bad, the other female area has to be the worst. __________________
