Getting to 10,000 Posts #4156: Summer is on it's way!!! At last the Bunny's won't be too cold at night!!!
  Banners by Joce and Carlos. "  , DON'T  !"Intro: Welcome! This is the Getting to 10,000 Posts Thread, otherwise known as The Bunny Thread. The purpose of this thread is to discuss your current posting goal, whether it be getting to 10,000 posts or getting to 1,000 posts. It also serves as a place to celebrate your posting milestones every time you reached a certain posting goal. This thread is called The Bunny Thread because working towards a posting goal is like the Energizer Bunny who keeps going and going and going... All members of this thread are considered bunnies. In order to become a bunny, you have to have 30 or more posts on one of the "Getting to 10,000 Posts" threads, or 10 or more posts on three different "Getting to 10,000 Posts" threads. When you see that you are qualified to be a bunny, you can either contact the thread starter to add your name or you can contact one of the moderators of this board to add you. Rules: The bunnies are allowed to wander off topic to randomly chat with each other when not discussing their posting goals. However, please keep in mind that the main topic of this thread is still about reaching your posting goals. While you can randomly chat to get to know each other better, please remember that the topic of this thread is still about posting goals, so this is a topic that you should get back to on a regular basis when you have reached a certain milestone or you are about to reach another posting goal. As a bunny, please remember to follow these rules: 1. Just because this thread is about posting goals, it doesn't mean this thread is about posting anything to increase your post count. Please do not come to this thread to star post to increase your post count. Star posting refers to either repeatedly making posts in a row when no one else posted yet and making posts on a regular basis that says very little. For example, do not always post with just smilies. Once or twice is okay, but not all the time where when you make an appearance, it's always just one smilie, only smilies or you are just saying hi to people on the thread, one person for each post. If you have nothing much to say, then don't post. Don't come to the thread lurking, posting smilies or comments with one or two words here and there, waiting for a conversation that would interest you. Such posting tactics would be considered star posting, something that is not allowed on Fan Forum. 2. When a bunny thread is nearing 300 posts, anyone who would like to start the new thread should say so on the old one. When starting a new thread, simply quote the first post, copy it and paste it on the new thread. Remember to remove the quote brackets. When someone already volunteered to make the new thread and the old thread reaches or passes 300 posts before the new thread is being posted, please stop posting on the old thread. Do not reply to any posts and wait for the new thread to be up. If the thread already reached 300 posts and no one volunteered, do not post unless you are volunteering to make the new thread. When the thread has passed 300 posts, please do not continue your conversations or keep asking "Who will make the new thread?" if you do not plan to make the new thread. At this point, the only person who should be posting on the old thread should be the person volunteering, either to inform everyone s/he will be making the new thread or to post a link to the new thread if s/he already volunteered earlier. 3. When you are the one making the new thread, once the new thread is up, you are telling mods the old one can be closed. Do not open a new thread first, then go back to the old thread to quote and copy the first post. Even if your computer is slow in loading a new thread, do not start the new thread with posts like "To be edited later." Even if it is slow, everyone can wait. Make sure the first post is ready before submitting. If after submitting the new thread and you notice an error while the old thread is already closed so you can't copy and paste again, you can PM a mod to ask them to fix it. 4. Do not add anything to the first post of this thread without asking a mod and getting approval in advance. The only exception would be adding the name of a new bunny to The Energizer Bunnies list and updating the existing links. Other than that, if you have a suggestion for any changes or something to be added to the first post, please ask a mod by PM. We would review your idea and get back to you as soon as possible. 5. Due to the large number of people who regularly post on this thread, sometimes conflicts are unavoidable. However, please keep in mind that if you have a problem with a poster, do not confront them on this thread. Take it to PM. You can either talk to them directly by PM or you can PM a mod about the situation. Please remember that you would likely meet a lot of different people on this thread and disagreements could happen. Please remember to stay respectful and not to attack other posters or to criticize anyone openly on this thread. If you would like to report a situation on the board that made you feel uncomfortable or offended, please report it to a mod by quoting the posts or links to specific thread pages. Be as specific as you can so we can more accurately assess the situation. Since this thread goes by quickly, it would help us a lot if you pinpoint where exactly did problems arise. It would be easier and faster for us to get to it. We would very much appreciate your help and cooperation.  I see you had the tittle suggestions nearby!!! I am STILL awake form my 2 AM "PEE" break!!!  Planning on making a grilled cheese sandwich then brushing my teeth and sleeping for 6-10 hours before getting up for anything!!!  At least that is what my body and eyes want...we will see what my brain allows!!!  __________________

I saved them on my computer when you wrote them! I was prepared!
Just got home! Hate long drives! Still we saw Wonder Woman and it was quite good. I was too tired though and found it very hard to keep my eyes open in the cinema! The house is all cleaned and I've made suggestions of stuff we need to do, to get the house to sell. My husband is good at the practical stuff but when it comes to a good finish he's not so good! __________________

 Sounds like a good trip, Mel! Sounds like you accomplished things and did some fun stuff. Karen, you had a long break, that used to be me, waking up for a night potty break around 3-4 am and then not being able to go back to sleep, but that was when I was more  and apparently didn't have the mattress quality I have no that I actually sleep through the night it's miracle?Still in bed lounging cause it's a lazy Saturday morning and my cat is sleeping next to me in bed and he's so cute I don't want to interrupt him. But I'm kinda starving and need lunch. I bought some Italian sausage soup I want to try. Need to eat soon  __________________

It's 9pm here and I'm about ready to go to bed!
 It's been a long couple of days. The traffic was fairly bad and we came a roundabout route. Gotta love how google maps calculates the fastest route for us. Sounds good to be still lounging though, Leanne! __________________

I have a Chicken, Rice & Vegetable Soup going in the crock pot!!!
 It has three hours left on high then will automatically switch over to low for a few hours. After that...it switches itself to the warm position until someone turns it off. My son heard me in the kitchen so I made him a grilled cheese sandwich sandwich as well!!! His whole face brightened up and he got the biggest grin on his face when he saw his sandwich on a plate at his place at the table. I am really feeling exhausted now!!!  I have a feeling I might sleep 6-10 hours without waking up once!!! Have a wonderful rest of the day/eve/night "My" friends!!!  __________________

Mel yay on enjoying the movie so much, and not falling asleep.
I hope you are sleeping well now. Did your husband accept your ideas about the house, to get it ready to sell? Karen grilled cheese sounds so good! I hope your soup is good, too. Sleep well. Leanne are you still relaxing away? I'm glad you got some sleep. That sounds yummy, too. Everyone has such yummy food. Yep, I'm starving at the moment. __________________

Kim Having a bowl of HOT soup now!!! Turned out very well. Even if I say so myself!!! I improve with age. So does the flavour of the soup!!! Just made my reservations for the family reunion in October!!! Because of another big activity in the area that end of the week and weekend, it was recommended that we make our reservations in May and June to ensure we could book enough rooms between the four(4) Hotels in the area!!! I found a room at my #1 choice!!! One of the last single rooms left. How is your evening going??? How was your weather today??? Our weather was extremely "moody" & "forever" changing today!!! Couldn't make up it's mind if it wanted to be cloudy of  sunny.  I will finally get some sleep after finishing this bowl of soup. So exhausted can hardly keep my eyes open. My legs from the knees down are throbbing and extremely achy.  Looking forward to putting my feet and legs up on my bed...elevating them upon a few pillows...above my heart. to help decrease the swelling in my feet and legs. They are SOOOOO uncomfortable.Hopefully you will be around to post with after several hours sleeping. __________________

yum, my soup was Italian sausage, potato and kale for lunch and I have half a container left and it was totally yum! I love soup, your crock pot soup also sounds yummy, Karen!What did you get to eat, Kim? I've been washing my bedsheets and will have to make my bed soon. No tv yet today! I keep wanting to read one of my scary books but I can't get off my iPad! I should polish my wooden furniture while my cat is sleeping cause he likes to lay down on my coffee table and my coffee table is wood but needs a polish and I don't want him laying on it.It's been both sunny and cloudy over here the weather doesn't know what it wants to be today! __________________

Karen yay on your soup turning out good, and I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Our weather was just as moody all day. Sunny, cloudy, storming. I didn't do much this evening, slept mostly. Leanne and yay that your soup was yummy, too. I didn't eat anything. I'm going to have to go get some food today. Might stop at Burger King after and treat myself. Sounds like we all had moody weather today. Tonight (well, this morning) I need to write my cousin back, and work on some affirmation cards for the pretty box my counselor had made, and gave me to remember her by. __________________

I didn't do much but I got my dumb little things done like washing my bed, fixing my fingernails and polishing the wood in my room! But I can't bring myself to go to the grocery store and get food! Just seems like a chore and I have an aversion to the loads of people I think will be there on the weekend!
 My grandma and her boyfriend is coming to stay over here during her visit this week or so, it will be nice to have them around! __________________

Sorry, you haven't felt good today
Are you going to get food after 1 am? Grocery stores are open? I don't have much food either, just two slices of cheese with crackers some granola bars, a can of yucky chicken noodle soup I don't want to eat and some yogurt. Tomorrow I'll probably just go out and get a sandwich and coffee for lunch cause of family dinner or something tomorrow night. Then get food on Monday. __________________

No, grocery stores don't open till after 7am here. Makes me miss Virginia Beach so much. I'll probably go around 9am.
