I'm doing well so far today. I was unable to do my normal routine of reading with the kids and helping out at the library, due to my son's appointment. However, it seems the tooth is fine, and we just have to keep a eye on it to make sure it recovers. So after he was back at school, I used my time this morning to chop back a few of the hedges and mow the lawn, so feeling a sense of achievement!

Hello What a relief for you that your son's roots and tooth is fine for the moment and will be a "watch and see" for a full recovery. I'll be praying it will fully recover. My two front teeth were a "watch, wait and see" a few times because of a few accidents and being hit extremely hard. Once in a diving accident where the swimming pool slide was aimed to go into she shallow end instead of the deep end. I went down head first. It was dark and the pool light weren't on and I had never been in that pool or knew about the slide going into the shallow end. I got my front teeth.roots X-Rayed every 6 months for a few years for extra precautions. Nothing changed. No movement or discolouration of my teeth.

How is your shoulder feeling today??? Is the bruise more colourful today???

I am ready for sleep now. I Changed locations of pictures and furniture during the night. No hammering though. Didn't want to wake anyone up.

Glad you got things done and feel like you have a sense of accomplishment!!! It is a wonderful feeling!!!

Home and didn't get soaked. Had to work around a few things, but it worked out. Cost a lot more, but worked out. Got my cat flea stuff from the vet, but it was $30 more. No one else in our tiny town carried it. But, I have it. I'll just have to be hungry some.

Glad you're doing well Mel and that your son is going to be okay without having dental work done.
Too bad you missed out on your library time but you got a lot done.

Thanks Karen! My bruise is very colourful! It's mostly purple with blue around the edge. I expect it will continue to get even more interesting. It aches a lot which is not surprising.

Oh Leanne!!! That must feel sooooooo awful to have such an upset stomach.
That is a miserable feeling...could be a long residual of the flu...

I don't know. Today I didn't eat anything but 4 gummy peach candies and a cup of coffee. But stomach is sort of burning, sick. And I feel weird again. Is this phase 3 or what? The problem is, I feel lousy like I should be at home, but I already took 3.5 sick days this month and I have that important meeting for news which isn't for another 3.5 hours and I have my second shift coming up. I really feel non-functional though. I just want to lie down at my second shift. I just hope I don't throw up while at work or car!

Yes, I got 5 hours of restful sleep. Will nap this afternoon when I get back from the Dr's appointment. The Dr will be going over our daughter's blood results with us.

My friend found out she has two kinds of cancer. She will be having an MRI to see where else is has spread. One kind feeds off hormones found naturally in the body. She will take this one pill that will remove these hormones so the cancer will hopefully won't return once they remove that particular tumor. She is so grateful she has me to turn to. I am her only close friend except her husband and he is completely freaking out...not calm at all. Very understandable. They have been married almost 30 years.

Well, I did manage to eat a grilled cheese sandwich so hopefully that will help me out. I got some ice water too. I think I can survive for the meeting now. I heard from a staff that one of the library techs got laid off from one school but she's seniority so she may "bump" off people under in seniority. So maybe that means it's just going to be a bumping thing and we are staying, with less hours, not all laid off. That's what I'm hoping to hear if we have to go with the lesser bad news,

Karen, that's weird that the doctor will tell you your daughters blood results instead of just her cause she's an adult. My parents don't know anything about my health results unless I tell them after.
