In the summer, M and I did a "fangirl" date where we watched a fave show of the other and hers was "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and I made it to somewhere in season 2 and while I thought it was kind of fun, I can't really think to watch it, it will just remind me of her now.

Caro, if you explained your fandom of Buffy, I guess I'll share I've been an X-Files fan since the pilot aired and my idea of the show is from Season 1-5 when they filmed in Vancouver. I didn't see 6-9 til last year so I has no clue that Mulder and Scully became a couple and had a kid , but upon rewatch as an older woman now, I suddenly became a shipper cause I could see the chemistry and caring where the first time, I was all about them solving supernatural cases as partners, never mind the obvious unresolved sexual tension that was there,

^ sorry, my Aspie trivia brain is going to have to share this info, but did you know that the term "shipper" and "shipping" originated from online X-Files fans? Mulder and Scully fans who wanted them to get together called themselves the "relationshippers" which shortened to "shipping". So the were the original couple that started it

I probably would have been one of the online fandoms back then cause in 1995, we first got online for three hours one night and I searched for X-Files and found some sites but then we discovered we were being charged online per minute so three hours cost us about 50 dollars! So I missed out on being late of the early internet geek fans

Bangelfanforever I started Buffy in season 2, and caught up on season 1, as they aired season one the nights before season 2. I liked all the seasons a lot, just for different reasons. 2 & 3 are my favorites though.
