I had a good sleep. might go back to sleep later on. Most of you know me and naps!!!

I had a scary, frustrating commute to work It was black ice in my city so my first turn on the corner of my street my car almost drove itself into a pole, and of course, there are hills everywhere here. Not only that, but there was construction causing a traffic jam on the main road to get out of my city to go to work.... so I had to take a detour up a mountain neighborhood where it was a sheet of ice!!! So all in all, I was like a half hour late to work just getting out of city cause of those two things.
(I admit when I found out how icy it was once I was on top the mountain neighborhood, I almost cried from fear knowing the only way out was down a hill. and I almost was tempted to call work saying I'm not coming! )

Anyway, I'm at work where I prefer to be anyway! Now that I'm here, alive and my car is not crashed!

I am fine now at work. But I watched some live coverage of the U.S. inauguration. I am a little scared about how Trump is now officially in charge of a country, that can affect other countries! Hope this isn't going to be a disaster for the world!

(if anyone sends me a PM today, I'll wait til I get home to write back, I'm all for TMI talk but probably not while at work. You never know if there is a keylogger or something!)

I am not asleep yet...was polishing a silver tray, a small circle tray. Have had the TV on listening and watching the coverage with Obama both Barrack and Michelle and the families of the President and Vice President.

I am not fearful at all of the future our country with the new President. God is ultimately in control. Good or bad each President inherits things from the past president's time in office. Especially when there has been 8 years in office.

I don't usually get scared but with medical, climate change, lgbt rights, and civil rights pages having been deleted from the White House page already... Yeah, I'll admit I'm quite fearful. Our only hope is the first ever double impeachment.

On a lighter note, how is everyone doing today?

Incidentally, did you know I feel awkward calling anyone a "goof" cause I used to work in prison and since inmates swear all the time, their special word to call each other if they meant serious business to instigate violence or a fight would be to call the enemy a "goof". So to me, "goof" feels like something bad to call someone,
