My view, i think it shudnt be a either sex thing. If u care about the person then u shud want to protect them and it shud be a shared responsibility. Pill dont protect against diseases and if u dont care enough to want to 'share' the responsibility then all i can say is, u might have 'screened' the person but u cant screen them every time u sleep with them and whats to say that they dont sleep with someone else and then come back to you bringin something nasty along for the ride.
