Dentistry- Legal torture that you pay for?

Is your dentist a nice dentist who is there to help you and make your teeth feel special

or is your dentist an evil dentist that wants to break your teeth in half with an evil assortment of evil little torture instruments?

When was the last time you went to the dentist? Are you scared to go back?

Even more important- are you a dentist?

I had a double root canal two years ago..it was not a nice experiance and I paid hundreds of euros

My dentist is nice but I hate going anyway.

I have to get a cavity filled in a few weeks...BLAH.

I really don't want to go. Everytime I go to the dentist I cry and I have no idea why.

yeah my old dentist was like 90 and kept shaking and stuff while he was working on my mouth...

yeah he made me really nervous which didn't improve my want to go to the dentist since I pretty much hate the whole process... but since he's retired and we've gotten a new one... it's only unpleasent and at least my hygenist is nice

EVIL! I hate the dentist.

I had to go to the dentist to get two teeth pulled, cause they were baby teeth that never fell out, and I was getting braces...so they had to come out. I go to the dentist, he numbs my mouth, and was about to pull out my teeth when I shouted and stopped him. He was about to pull the WRONG ONES. He didn't believe me, then looked over what my orthodontist sent him, and he started to laugh and was like, "oh yeah you're right."

Then I went there to get my teeth cleaned, and i sat in the chair for about 2 hours, and he came back and was like...oh ha, we forgot you were here. Ass. That happened another time before and forced my parents to let me go elsewhere.

I drove past the place the other day and it's closed...hahaha. Serves him right.

But he's nice. The assistants are bitches, though.

The one thing I really hate is how a dentist will put his/her hands in your mouth and then ask you a question.

WTF how do they expect you to answer?

I think my dentist is nice. I finally found a nice/good one after years of searching. The last time I saw him was April. I'm not really scared to go to the dentist, but I do get annoyed that it takes up time. If I want to keep my teeth, I have to go, though.

I love mine. I have two. When one isn't available I see the other one in the office. Both are very nice and very gentle. Both make teeth extraction so nice, they are very gentle and they tell you what they're doing and what not. It definately makes my nerves calm. However, I do not like this one hygenist. She digs the floss in my gums and it hurts and bleeds and bleeds.. then she has the nerve to say "your gums bleed easily. you may have gingivitis" Ah no. I'm a bleeder and my gums bleed easily because of that.

My dentist is pretty nice, thankfully, although you have so long to see them.
