The Fan Forum Graphics Team is in the process of (re)customising message boards and now it's your turn!

If you have any picture or colour suggestions please post them in this thread. Don't post (hotlink) the pictures, links to them are fine. Make sure that the pictures are of as high quality as possible and that the top of the head of the person in the picture isn't cropped off. We also like to use photoshoot images when possible, preferably individual pictures of each cast member. When suggesting colours please keep in mind that some colours will work better than others. The Team usually tries to avoid really vibrant and dark colours because we have found in the past that they are hard to look at for long periods of time. If you would like some help coming up with colour combinations we recommend checking out the design seeds website.

Everyone is encouraged to voice their opinions for this as you are the ones who will be posting on the board and we hope to make as many people happy with the finished result as possible. It does not matter if you are a board moderator, regular poster, or casual poster here. If you have a suggestion, please share it here with us .

Your suggestions for possible pictures and colours will be taken into serious consideration, but in the interest of seeing every board receive the best customised look possible the final decision concerning how this board will be customised will be made by the members of the Graphics Team. This is because we want to make sure that the selected graphic and colours fit into the overall design scheme that we've established for Fan Forum.

Please leave this topped until a week or so after the board has been (re)customised.

Note: It usually takes less than two weeks for us to finish making the new banner and the sooner we know what you want, the more we can work on it (though it can take a few months or so to set it up with the new colours on the board), so please let us know your suggestions as soon as possible.

When the Team have made and voted on a winning graphic I will close this thread until the graphic and colours get put up. It will then be re-opened so that you can share your thoughts about it.

I have definite ideas for what looks "easy on the eyes" for me. And I like warm or cool colours that are "relaxing" especially for a place like "off-topic" where we come to play games or be ourselves with other folks. So I'm going to post a few color preference I think would be nice!

We can always combine different colour schemes if you want? Some of them (E.G. 1, 2, & 3 or 6, 7, & 8) could easily go together as they very similar colours. Alternatively we could do a brown/grey/blue/purple scheme which combines it all? That is presuming others like your suggestions

What would you like to see used in the banner? I'm guessing the Energizer Bunny should remain

1, 6, 7, 8 look pretty good. I like stuff easy on the eyes. Nice and mellow.

I think I like the colours of 1. I like the blue color in the bottom left of the square as a top border or the text on the side bar. Or the text color of the main topic text too. (Not the top lighter blue, the bottom half blue in the square just to be specific, ) But the bottom ones are nice too. Also the slightly more dark colours of 7 would be nice, not too dark, but not too light!

Energizer bunny seems to be the theme of the bunny thread.

Coffee seems to be mention a lot. Maybe we need a cuppa?

Do you need photos of them here to potentially use?

Editing again I like the blue color of 3. As a text color too.

Board recustomization time!

As far as colors: My favorite color is yellow, but it is a horrible color for a website -- hard on the eyes. Love all of the suggestions for the pleasing colors. I tend to like the blues and greys better than purples, but I'm honestly easy to please

As far as graphics/pictures: We're a hodgepodge of stuff, so I guess that makes us hard to customize. The bunny is the theme of the "off topic" OT thread so, personally, I'd like to see some sort of energizer bunny stay

in terms of pictures, maybe flowers/nature, birds? That would a good general theme for off topic as we like to talk about what we do in our spare time, our real life. Blue is a nice idea, as its a calming forum...i quite like the combo of blues/purples?

I like # 6. I learned from another board that the dark colors do not work.

It makes it too hard to read, and feels depressing after too long.

Just my opinion, but I think 6.

We definitely need a in the image. I don't know what else.

^ None of the colours suggested would make a dark colour scheme as we don't use dark colours in large areas

If it were used it wouldn't be like FA was as we don't copy boards or make dark boards like that anymore. But i think its pretty clear what colours are wanted by the majority of people - the last couple of suggestions

I agree about a bunny in the image too. This board is mostly filled with bunnies.
