Wheres George?
I know this isn't a new thing...at least I'm pretty sure I've heard of it before. There are bills (i'm guessing they're in all kinds of denominations and not just ones) circulating with stamps on them that direct you to WheresGeorge.com. I got one a few days ago....I think it was at a Baja Fresh. I was very intrigued by it...maybe not intrigued, but most certainly amused. Anyways, I thought it was very cool and I went to the website and put up the info. I think I'm going to save the dollar and spend it somewhere far away to get it out of state...since the one I have started out in freaking Idaho (how the hell'd it get here?

I see these at my work, but never when it's actually mine. I always wanted to track one. I try to give them as change to the people who seem like they'd look it up.

aww...you should either buy something when you know there is one in the register or like...change a dollar you have with a dollar you find if it's stamped. of course, that'd look pretty shifty, but still. all in the name of random fun!

I got one that was stamped, but I had to spend it before I could get home. Such sadness.

They have a Canadian version too. It tracks the 5 dollar bill. I got one before and I looked it up to see where its been to.

I've heard of this, but the only bills I usually get say something like "Happy BDay" or the like. Never got a WheresGeorge one, but that's cool.

There's also some website for fans of GPS (the global mapping thing), where you get the coordinates and go dig up a "prize" at that location, usually some little dollar store thing, and then leave a "prize" for someone else to find in that same spot later on. Someone I know tried it and said it was a good way to teach their kid how to map stuff. Kinda neat the stuff you can do on the Net.

I got a dollar bill that was stamped and I signed up at Where's George...but it has been over a year and I haven't heard anything back.
