I agree with you guys. I wouldn't like to see Evanescence's sound change too much.

I actually wouldn't mind if the music on the next album was a little "harder". I mean, rock wise. I know it already is "hard", but.. you know?

(sorry if I'm not making any sense... I'm not great at trying to explain things.)

I also like the "harder" Evanescence songs. I don't want the new songs to lose that quality.

But really, look at the variety in their songs. Listen to the Rain to Haunted to My Immortal to Even In Death. They are all sooo different, but still hvae an Evanescence quality. The new songs will be different too, but they will also have that quality.

Hope, they'll not change... And the new album will be more beautiful than "Fallen".

I'd love to hear songs like Understanding...
And i wonder how the new album will look like if it's gonna be softer than Fallen. I mean, Fallen isn't that hard so softer album must be really soft But if it's going to have songs like Breathe No More...I will love it

Yeah, I love "Understanding" too.. That'd be great if they came out with something like that... For the past week though, I've really wanted them to re-record "Lies". That's such an awesome song! Anyway, variety is good. I like how "Fallen" was, where they had some softer songs, then some harder songs... it's a good balance.

I hope the new album will keep that balance. I don't want just soft songs.

I think no one want to have just soft songs...
If this balance is going to be like on Origin the new album will be really good. Maybe better than Fallen?

I have a good news!! This is what Amy said about the new album (from the newest Seventeen Magazine )
17 Scoop!
amy lee of evanescence
early 2005
what: In the studio working on the follow-up to the band's multiplatinum debut, Fallen.
You can expect: A spookier vibe. "I'm exploring love beyond death." she says. "It'll definitely sound heavier, too."
Nice
After Ben Moody left Evanescence last year, Amy teamed up with Shaun Morgan of Seether for a duet, and Shaun helped her write music for her band. The two didn't just hit it off- they fell in love!
So...can we expect something like Even in death?

Hey, that's cool! I can't wait for the new album! I wonder how long it'll be. Amy said that the DVD is supposed to tie us over until the new album comes out..
