Message Board Closure Notice
 

Hi everyone. This announcement is to inform you that this message board will be closed and moved into the Closed Forums category on May 4th, due to a lack of sustained traffic. We had established a minimum daily post count requirement of 15 posts per board per day, and unfortunately, this board did not meet that minimum requirement twice in the last six months, so the Management Team and I have made this difficult decision. We encourage you to start discussion topics about Evanescence on the Music Forum here at Fan Forum after this board has closed, so you can continue to discuss your favorite musical group here. We regret the necessity of having to do this, but we want Fan Forum to be a website with message boards that are busy and thriving, so we can add more boards and build for the future. Thanks for understanding.

I'm sorry about the board closing. :(

I am sorry to see this board closing :group_hug:.

That is a real shame. :( I had tried to post here and help out as often as I could, sorry it wasn't enough to save the board. At least we can say we had tried our best and that we managed to help to keep this board alive for as long as we could. Really sad, it's going to be strange not having this awesome board around anymore. :cry:

It's sad :( but fairly inevitable! The band just haven't been active enough and it's been really hard trying to keep people interested! As you say liv we did our best :thumbs_up: I've been posting on this board pretty much every day for the last 7 years :eek: so it will be so strange not coming here anymore! Thanks to everyone who posted here and kept it going for so long :D and the people who modded here over the years :) particularly Larry - who I had the privilege of meeting in person (and hope to again one day) thanks to :ff: for allowing Ev to have a board here too :)

Oh wow, I'm so sad to see this :( This board was my first mod job and I love it so much and I love all the people that I met here and wow it's so sad to see it go but I know everyone tried their best :hug:

It can be really hard to keep a board alive when the subject is not doing much but you have all clearly done a wonderful job and you should be happy and proud of that :hug:.

Would you like me to share with you what the new header was likely going to be had you had your new customisation put up? Or will that make you too upset to see the board go?

Well it is a crying shame for sure that the Ev board is at it's end! I would blame myself for leaving as mod but that was also inevitable and, like my friend and fellow mod Steve has said, the band just doesn't put out as much music as other bands do and when the tours are over they just seem to Disappear. Really sad:( to think that this is Going Under but, you know, the turnout just wasn't Good Enough to sustain it. Last thing I will say here is that it is very rare that fellow mods get to meet each other, especially when you have to reach across Oceans, but this board actually initiated that rare meeting between myself and Steve and, yes Steve we will stay connected and do it again very soon:cheers:, and yes, I would like to see the proposed new heading we would have gotten. So thanks to everyone who tried to keep us going: Liv, Hanci, Mary, Steve and the pioneers we started our journey with - Shades(serenity), Nellie(LostLullaby), Jack, Mariel and so many others...:group_hug:..it was fun while it lasted but now, MY Heart Is Broken:broken_heart:.
