Honestly, no one could like all of Evanescence's songs as they can vary and differ so much, there would be at least some one song everyone doesn't like.

Just because Evanescence sang it doesn't mean it should be rated any better than any other song.

However, iy just occurs that I love most of Evanescence's music, so my passion of Evanescence is more of that of my distaste.

So therefore, I love Evanescence, but I do not feel that I should have to love all of the songs, and I don't feel like I'm failing them, as I feel that they had composed this music for themselves, not me.

And potty, you made plenty of sense to me. So did you A-G, but I do not feel regret for my dislike.

And, you should never be regretful over a song you don't like...it's really only a trivial thing.

And some interesting differences in song taste. The tune that turned everyone inside-out is Haunted, which is one of my favorite songs; Steve can take it or leave it; Jack absolutely hates it. Songs I would have to say are my least favorite on the 2 "big" albums are "Taking Over Me" and "All That I'm Living For" but, to put it into perspective, I like these 2 songs better than a dozen songs by Radiohead. So it would be inaccurate to say,"Wow! A-G hates those 2 great songs". It is what we would call a "conundrum"

Everyone by now, hopefully, realizes that I am highly opinionated and I desire to express it.

I feel no regret in my explanation and feelings towards Haunted, to me, it is repulsive.

I know! It's language and subject matter combined with it's eerie sound make it hard to take for some but, really, is what I like about it.

Omg, I can't believe you said that! Whisper is just so underlying something greater that what we live in.

And really, even though I'm contradicting myself by saying this, whisper is just so great!

For me its just one of the weaker Ev songs.

Amy's vocals on Whisper are amazing though

But I sometimes skip it.

Hows it weaker? If anything, it's stronger!

I think the chorus is maybe a little weak

We disagree strongly on this one Steve. 4 me, Whisper is one of Ev's most compelling songs mainly because of the diversity it offers from the "hooky" verses to the cliched sound of the first chorus(with tremendous lyrics) ; move on to the dark, chanting, serpentine, monotonic chorus which brings in harmonic choir to the great lead guitar licks into Amy overlaying the final choral Latin chant and fading with the full chorus. That song is musical architecture!

I hope I made my point clear!

(it is also one that i love to play)
