Evanescence - Evanescence Side Projects #1 - From new bands to clothing lines...

Alrighty, since there have been lots of news on Evanescence related happenings, I thought I'd start a thread about it.

As I've mentioned in the News thread, Rocky has started a clothing line, called Crime Wave Clothing which looks pretty cool. The only thing that turns me off are the belly shirts. They're nice, but I think I'd like them more if they covered my entire stomach.

Seems like Rocky's been pretty busy. I think he's started two bands (that I've heard of), one of which includes John LeCompt.

The band he has started with John is called Mourningside (check out their site! it looks cool.

) and the other band with Rocky is a metal band called The Burning (the site isn't up yet, but you can hear some of their song).

So yeah, check these out and discuss! I'm still exploring Mourningside. They've been getting pretty good reviews so far, I'm excited to see what they have to offer!

Can't say I'm a huge fan of The Burning, but I'll have to check out Mourningside.

I still haven't heard Mourningside or The Burning.

But I like the Crimewave clothing line. I also don't like the belly shirts that much. But I like the clothes.

I listened to those songs by Mourningside, and I didn't really like it.

It wasn't what I was expecting. Maybe I just have to listen to it some more.

IMO, Mourningside sounds like a faster, more hardcore Evanescence.

It's not bad, but I don't think I'm going to rush out and by their CD any time soon.

Did you hear the two songs on the site or other ones? I managed to d/l them somewhere else, but maybe I heard something else... gah, there's no way to tell now because the songs I d/l are long gone.

I wonder how well Rocky's doing with his clothing line. When I get a credit card, I'll maybe buy something from there.
