Well...general music news of a non Ev nature(yes, there is other music besides Ev)

I happen to catch KT Tunstall on my RAVE cable show "Later with Jules Holland" and KT was fantastic...I really like her style!

I read on another forum that Amy has already made the decision to release a solo album next.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least and, aren't her albums REALLY solo releases with a backup band?

That what I think too, AG, Id love to hear her solo album, anything from Amy Lee would be good actually.

I think it would be good too. Its quite exciting wondering what she will come up with. As you say Sheida - I'm sure it will be amazing!

lol does that mean we would have to change this to the "Amy Lee" board?

That depends on Amy; will she announce that Evanescence is dead? or will she keep on insisting that she and Terry are Evanescence and continue to change members in the band's name?

Personally I would prefer it if she kept Evanescence with her and Terry

they make a good team

If she went solo she'd obviously be known as Amy Hartzler I guess

I think she'd keep it Amy Lee or at the very least Amy Lee Hartzler.

I hope so - Amy Hartzler doesn't have the same ring to it

If it is to be a solo album - I just hope it isn't dominated by the piano. Obviously she plays the piano beautifully - but I kind of prefer her rockin' out more

I think her first solo effort would definitely be keyboard dominated...which is Okay by me...one time!
