Personally, I don't think this is good news. Movies released before Xmas are usually a big success coz everyone's on holiday (well a large amount) and everyone has money where as after Xmas everyone is BROKE and yea films don't do that well when relased in January of Frebruary...well that's my personal opinion.

Hey, we have Valentine Day in February…a pretty good time for moviegoers, no? We could cozy up in the theater with our boyfriend or girlfriends, and pretend that we are on the boat with Varty fighting the crocs and all....what ya think? Maybe, Varty might even lose his shirt fighting the crocs *dream*

I agree, it just that you get the holiday feeling and wanting to do many things and then after the holiday you just being lazy and all.

ETA: I hoping for him to take off his shirt in this movie, I think I be screaming take off your shirt while he fighting with the crocodile

Hmmm... you're right. January, if i'm correct, is usually the lowest grossing month at the box office. February is right up there with January though Who knows though? I'm not expecting this to be a blockbuster hit anyway. If it's a moderate success, i'd be happy.

Hmm maybe Rogue will do ok then if it's released just before the 14th, although I know I wouldn't go with my boyfriend, I'd end up just drooling of Michael not the best thing ever for a relationship

I'm not expecting Rogue to do amazingly either but the release being in feb, isn't exactly helping the movie in any way

I'm hoping the crocs rip his short too I mean even the crocs must know he's gorgeous and that everyone wants to see him shirtless

I hope Rogue will do well though. Americans tend to think that any movies that have to do with Crocodiles are another Crocodile Dundee. I really hope for a good marketing of Rogue and great trailer to showcase this film. A Beautiful Mind was released in Feb, and it was a great film and did well.

The storyline doesn't sound that interesting, what interested me is Varty. I'm not big fan this kind of movie. I like romantic or comedy movie more.
