Kylie, as your time winds down as moderator of Joy's Board, all of us wanted to take a minute, in our own special way, to say thank you, say good luck, say good-bye, say you'll be missed, and say we so appreciate the the time and the memories.

We wish you nothing but the best, wherever your path leads from this point on. We know this isn't a true good-bye, because the bonds and friendships will continue, but it's good-bye to you as a moderator, and we thought we'd send you out with one last hurrah.

Kylie. I don't know where to start. You were one of the first girls I 'talked' to when I started posting on Fanforum, and if I remember correctly, we talked about a NH fic you had written, and then we just clicked. We can talk about the meaning of Joy's lyrics, life, songs, families, everything! And I love that! You are an incredible person with a beautiful heart, I know that I can always rely on your shoulders when I need it, and I hope you know that my shoulders are free for you to rely on.

You are intelligent and inspiring person, you are fun and joyful. We haven't talked much lately, life can be so hectic, but I adore you so, so much. And wish you nothing but the best for the future, I am sure it has amazing things in store for you. Keep in touch!

You are, hands down, one of the loveliest, most generous people I've had the pleasure of meeting and I'm so glad I get to count you as one of my close friends. When I first found out you'd got the mod position at Joy's board, I knew you'd be amazing over there and I was right. You - along with Krys - have made it such a great board to post at and it really won't be the same without you there, sweets! You're definitely going to be missed.

Kylie, I haven’t been around for most of your time as a moderator or board member and so I haven’t really gotten to know you very well. However, that does not mean I didn’t notice how you are. You’ve been a great moderator and, although I may not have been around long enough to really see it, the way that all of these wonderful people on this welcoming board react to your leaving, it’s obvious how much you mean to them and how great you’ve been over the years. You’re always showing support for Joy (or Joie as you would say ) whether something big or something small is happening for her. That deserves my appreciation enough! But, on top of that, you seem to be a real sweetheart. I’m sorry that you have to stop doing something that you love because, as it seems to happen to everyone at some point, life has gotten busier. So, I say thank you for being a moderator here over the years. You’ve helped make this place stay positive and kind. Good luck with your busy schedule! I hope that your absences will not be so often because this board loves you.

Kylie, I haven't been posting at this board for the longest time, but you have been nothing but friendly and welcoming towards me, and that helped me not only feel comfortable posting at Joy's board, but at Fan Forum in general. This board is by far my favourite, not just for the subject; although the one we have is pretty awesome, but for the atmosphere you have helped to create and maintain along with Krys. Whenever I think of the board, to me, you and Krys are synonymous, not simply because of how much you contribute and bring; but because of the family vibe you help to instil and how you make everyone feel included, even the newest of posters. You have helped the board to flourish, truly, and you shall definitely be missed as a moderator. It’s sad to think that soon you UN name will no longer be besides Krys’s. If our new mod is half the one you are, we will be lucky. You’re an amazing poster, not only because of the pretty pretty arts and icons you share, but because you have such a true nature that comes across in your posts which are a Joy to read. I am so glad that you will still be posting, you are a rare gem! Thank you for all you have done, you’re a real star! Good luck for the future, in anything and everything you do and wish to achieve.

Ok so I know my art says "Goodbye Kylie" like you're leaving for good, but you're not. It just sounded better on the art . But anyway, GAH where to begin! Ever since I've stepped foot on this board back in July 2007, you were there with me. Whether it be helping my lost newbie soul back then, or inspiring me with your posts. We became such good friends over these two years and we have so many memories to go with it.


I remember back in the day the AIM chats with me, you, Lyn, Sam, Caro and of course Mandz. We had so much fun in there. Of course everyone had homework to do, but we didn't care, we just chatted away about Joy, about life, about everything. I remember the EPIC chat with you, me Caro, and Sam when we were working on the 200k thread back in 2008. We LEGIT were in a chat all day planning and trying to make arts and stuff and trying NOT TO POST so we wouldn't hit 200k until we were ready, I love chatting in the OT thread with you about everything and anything. And we can't forget about my amazing rhyming poems can we? There's so many more and I'm probably forgetting a lot, a ton actually.

I knew I could always count on you (or Krys) to be there when I needed you. When there was a problem, or when I just wanted to chat, you were there. Words can't express how much you mean to this board, and to me. This board wouldn't be what it is today if you and Krys didn't grace it with your kind words, kind souls, and responsibility. You and Krys taught me how to be a mod, how to treat my posters with the same respect you give to us.

It sucks that real life can get in the way of something you love, but it happens. I know you won't fully leave. You've been a big part of this board for years now. I'm really sad to see you step down from this position, but I know it's not the end. I know we'll still stay in contact. Even if I have to stalk your life on Facebook. But we'll chat on AIM, on Facebook, I even have your number if I'm really am going through Kylie withdrawal . You're such a great Joy fan, and it's shown through everything you do. I'm sure if Joy knew about this place, she'd be so happy with the way you and Krys mod it.

So before I make this into a long story and start tearing up, I just want to say overall Thanks. Thanks for everything you did. Thanks for making this place a place I love to come to everyday. You always tell me this board is like your second family, we'll it's mine too. We're all a family here and it's gonna be SO SAD to see one of our own go. But I know you have to. I'm really gonna miss you as a mod Kye. You and Krys are the best mods anyone could ask for. I truly appreciate everything you've done.

Aww, reading that you're leaving the mod position is very sad. It really is sad to see you go. Thank you for being a really great mod. Thank you for sending me PMs telling me that I've screwed up something in the OP or links to the new thread and that you just wanted to tell me why you edited my post. Thank you for being very welcoming to new-ish posters, like me. The board has a homey feeling to it and I know it's because of you. So, good luck with everything that is going on in the real world. Kylie, I am very surprised and shocked to find out that you have decided to step down, and I am sure things will never be the same afterwards since I have always gotten used to see you modding on this board. I am sure that all of us will miss you very much that's for sure. I hope, really hope, that you would have time to post with us. Please make some time to come back to us when you can. I know that life can be very hectic for you and that must be difficult decision for you to step down, but in the end, I want you to know that you are one of the greatest mods on this board. We wouldn't have a better mod than you.

One thing I am glad about us is that we have shared our great love for our show that is General Hospital. When you first told me that you like JaSam, I couldn't be anymore happier than I am! I mean to find out another Joy fan to love a couple from different show that I have is very rarely, but I am so happy that you and I got chance to talk about our loves for our couples, JaSam and Patrick/Robin. It was great time to talk to you about those stuff. I am going to miss talking about them with you but if you need to talk about anything, GH-related, PM me away. I will be there to talk about it. Kylie, I began posting on this board almost two years ago, and I've never regretted it since then. It was nice having a place where we could gush over the wonders that is Joy, but also meet other posters and get to know them as well. You played such a huge role in making me feel welcome and comfortable. Then, when we found out that we had common loves in other things (Scrubs!), the rest was ancient history. LOL. It won't be the same without you dear. I don't think anyone can ever take away your presence and contribution on this board. I wish you the best of luck in everything you take on in life. Glasses raised in the air for you, Ky! This one's all for you. We've said so much through PM, that I feel like anything I could say at this point would be so boring and redundant. So, I went with what I felt were some fitting lyrics from one of Joy's covers, instead. I thought the sentiment was kind of perfect for now.

Endings are sometimes sad and bittersweet, and new beginnings and changes are often or sometimes scary, but you... You're going to set the world ablaze, and I'm going to hold down the fort on this front, while you're off doing your thing. LOL. You've always been so supportive of me, and I'm going to always be so supportive of you, too. You know that, and I hope you remember that.

Saying you'll be missed is an understatement. Saying thank you seems too little. Saying you're one of the best of the best is so lacking in capturing how amazing a person you are. So, I'm not going to try. But, your stamp on this board, your friendship, all that we've done together, all of the laughs and the WTFs we've had together, that will remain and be remembered long after your name has been removed from the board. That's a tribute to you, your huge heart, your unconditional welcoming spirit, and your infectious kindness. I was so beyond lucky to have had you with me as my co-mod for so many years. Oh my goodness! You guys!! I seriously never expected anything like this and I'm just stunned. It's beyond gorgeous and I'm not going to lie - I started reading it and started tearing up.
