I though this ep was pretty good. I think I expected more NH scenes on the situation, but I kinda get why there wasn't They both really didn't know what to do and they just wanted to make this whole thing go away. I felt so bad for Haley in the beginning, looking at the sonogram & pictures. Poor thing

The one thing that DID bug me though was when Haley was saying how Nathan got married and had a kid young and didn't get to party .... but he DID. Like all of season 1, Nathan partied. Plus we heard that he had parties as a freshman too (aka when he slept with Taylor) and he had parties in season 4 too (after the Ravens went to the playoffs, and then the one when Haley slapped Rachel). So he did party, a lot. Unless she was talking about not partying in college ... But yeah Nathan should be out of his partying stage. At least to the point where he doesn't want to get obliterated anymore, maybe just have a few drinks. But whatevs I guess.

We didn't get as much NH scenes as I expected, but I still adore what we got. I have a feeling we'll get more scenes with them next episode. It just seemed like both N and H needed to sort out their feelings and emotions, especially Haley. I'm glad, for once, we get to hear her side of the story and see her interacting with other people about it. Even though the last scene was kind of overdramatic with the fading effect, I still enjoyed it for some reason. James and Joy always bring it when it comes to angsty stuff, and play off each other really well.

Maybe Haley said that as some sort of poor reason to excuse what Nathan looks like he is doing in the picture? I mean, to give her some piece of mind or just to make some sense to what is going on? I don't really know but I do agree that I don't think Nathan was deprived of partying up to that point in his career.

I actually liked this episode. I loved how we got to see both Nathan and Haley deal with the issue separately and how crushed and saddened and lost and vulnerable they both were to each other. I also liked how even though Haley is mad at Nathan (or at least I think she is mad), she still went to him to talk about it.

TBH, I think it was just the writers trying to come up with a semi-excuse for what could have happened. Like yeah Nathan got married young, and yeah he had a kid young, but he SOOOOO partied it up in high school. Like hardcore.

I also liked that Nathan told Haley about the situation like ASAP. Not like his usual 'wait a few weeks till it gets worse and then tell Haley' occurrences. He is learning, I like this. Haley is getting through to him, LOL.

Word. Haley is definitely getting through to him. Nathan has finally learned that when he does something ****ty, he should be smart enough as to tell his wife right away before she finds out about it from other sources.

I was actually very happy to see Nathan and Haley communicate more in this episode as usual. Thank goodness for that considering that it has never happened in the past pretty much.

But yeah I wasn't loving the excuse the writers had made that Nathan hadn't been able to party, which I think is false, but I think it is more that Haley was upset and maybe didn't really mean it....eh I don't know, it's just a thought.

No worries on the new thread ladies.

I agree with all of you. Nathan partied so much Season 1. There were so many episodes about it LOL. He was still having his fun even after him and Hales got together so I don`t get why his supposed lack of partying was even mentioned last night. Maybe the writers had nothing else to blame it on.
