True, but considering he needed Peyton is his life to write so I wouldn't really say it was an great only career choice for him. Plus there was no reason why he couldn't do both.

Did Lucas ever teach a class? I know Whitey did once but I never recall the show mentioning if he did? I think it was mostly an assumption for most? Would've been cool to see Haley walking in his classroom.
