Just thinking of this makes me teary. RBR will now forver be connected to Peyton/Haley. When I think of it, I think of them. In a way it represents their relationship.

Aww. I know, right? That's something I'm so grateful for in regards to how they've woven Haley's music storyline in to the show so far this season.

With Haley's large part in RBR, ownership, partner, evs... It's like there is a constant reminder and a part of the fabric of Haley and Peyton's friendship and love for each other, and love for music consistently present. I think it's so symbolic, and such a nice touch.

I really do wonder if they'll have Miranda or Haley mention Peyton sporadically as the story progresses with Haley's music and RBR, etc.

I hope they do. Especially if big things impact RBR or something new happens ect. It would be strange not to mention Peyton. I would also like to hear that Peyton herself called, just to show she's checking in and seeing how they are all doing.

And, you know, I keep going back and forth on what I think they'll do. You know, after Mark gave that interview, where he said he kind of didn't want to keep reminding the fans of what had been lost last season, or whatever it was he said exactly, it may be kind of a fine line to walk for the show to write, and so, I'd totally get that.

But, I definitely think some super sporadic mentions could also be really awesome. Like, when Haley gave that interview with that mean person... It would be so easy for the show to tell us Peyton called Haley when she saw the article, she thought such and such of it. Or, just any kind of little things that show that Peyton still follows Haley and the label. Just a really quick line thrown out there every now and again could do.

Because, I do kind of admit, while again, I totally get the show's reasoning, for me, it's been kind of odd that LP, Lucas especially haven't been mentioned in the face of all NH are going through with the Renee scandal. Oh wells.

I really will be interested to see which direction they go with on the Peyton/RBR front. To mention or not to mention... That is the question. LOL.

This would be ace. With Haley getting back on stage and performing, and really getting back into her music, I could see Haley mentioning Peyton, and maybe how she wishes she were there. I think it was in 5x16(?) where they're both at the piano at RBR and I think it's Peyton who asks if she ever thought that they would end up recording together. And with all the talk of them being a team last season, just maybe a mention that even though Peyton isn't there in person, Haley knows that she's supporting her and that they're still in it as a team.

I apologise that it's so small, but I've always kinda adored this hug, even if it was blink and you miss it. LOL

^^Love, love, love that hug! It really is so cutie.

I think a mention of these two being a team would be pretty cool, too. Or even a mention of how even though Peyton left and seems to have stepped back, Haley's still making their vision and hopes come true.

And, just... Not even just about the label, although I'd love if we got a mention about that. Also, with Haley finally progressing on the music front... Some kind of line, even if it's a throw away, about how Peyton would be so thrilled that Haley's finally getting back out on stage again, that she's finally writing her music again, that she's finally... Yeah.

All of what Haley's got going on right now kind of reminds me of this moment, except Peyton's no longer around to see it, etc:

HALEY: So you know how you're looking for the next great artist and you really trust my instincts and everything?
PEYTN: Do you have a demo for me?
HALEY: I do.
PEYTON: Haley, thats awesome. who is it?
HALEY: Haley James Scott.
PEYTON: Yes.

That scene from 5x14 I thought was a great PH scene, because Haley just told Peyton she was the artist and Peyton immediately said yes, without listening to any of Haley's new songs. It shows how much Peyton believes in Haley and her music, and how she will always be supporting Haley in her music, even if she isn't geographically close to her.

I could definitely imagine a line where Haley mentions that Peyton KNEW she would be ready for music again, where Haley is the one performing and not dragging her feet because she feels she should be in a classroom. She's really embracing being a musician again, and I think deep down Peyton knew that Haley would reach that place, she just needed time to figure it out on her own and she gave her the space to do that.

I really agree with this quote. I feel like after Nathan, Peyton was the next person to really support Haley and her music (I'd throw Chris somewhere in there too). I feel like from day one she was floored by Haley and saw in her a talent that others came to see. And I think she never stopped believing or encouraging her, especially in season five/season six. I mean for reals she could have hounded Haley and asked her where is the album? Are you writing for the album? You need to be working on the album. But she didn't. She let her take her time as you said missviolet. She let her breathe. Let her find her creative energy and inspiration and I really feel like that was the best for Haley. I think had she completely submerged herself in music in season five, even in season six it would have been all too much for her too soon i think the course it took, the course that Peyton encouraged her to take was really what Haley needed. And now it is obviously paying off this season.

That's why I bumped this thread. Looking at the promo of the concert I couldn't help but think how Peyton would feel seeing Haley up there on stage doing her thing. Excited, proud, happy, in awe. I really wish she could be here to see Haley rock the stage becuase although Haley brought herself to this point Peyton helped her in a lot of ways.

I really wish she could have been there too, but yes I imagine Peyton is extremely proud of Haley. I miss PH and Joy/Hil's chemistry.
