Thanks for the survivor! The first couple rounds might be okay, but after that, its going to be near impossible to eliminate any of them. I was originally going to say 5, but I didn't care much for 8 either, so I'll go with the majority this round.

I think it's time for a new round. Caroline, do you mind if one of us starts the new round, if and when the time falls on moments when you aren't around, hun? Either way, is cool. If you'd prefer we wait, that's cool. If you're good with us starting new rounds when it's time, that's good, too.

I love, love, love that we have this survivor. These scenes are such gold!

Manny Angst Moment Survivor

As we know Danny and Michelle had plenty of angst moments throughout their two years together. For this survivor, you need to vote for your least favorite moment. One scene will be eliminated after 5 votes.

Round #2

1.

M: Ok I get the message, I had this foolish romantic idea, I supposed there was something good in you. That my feelings, whatever I was starting to develop, might actually provide for what we had I guess.
D: What? Save me? You thought you could save me? Get over yourself, I dont want to be saved.
M: Thats not what I was trying to do. I just wanted to be fair to us and to our marriage. I didnt want to quit you know, thats something I have never really done.
D: Let me tell you something. Sometimes it is just better to quit while you can.
M: You're such a coward...huh...you're right, you know, yeah, when you kissed me I guess I could have been anybody, so um...wow you have a nice life and you get the papers send them over and i'll sign them.

2.

D: Since I met you my life has spun out of control and I have been trying to get it back but nothing seems to work - no - there's only one thing left for me to do Michelle, I'm setting you free. I'm sending you back to your life, to your nice clean, quiet life.
M: I can't...
D: You don't belong with me, it's over Michelle.

3.

M: Somebody in this town set me up for murder that I did not commit so you will forgive me if I trust a very select group of people.
D: What about me? Am I in that group?
M: Of course you are why would you even ask me that?
D: Why? Because you were never going to tell me about Drew, you have all these doubts about my mother that you’ve been keeping from me all this time. Do you have any other deep dark secrets, Michelle?

4.

M: NO! NO! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU for everything that you've done to me.
D: No you don't. Don't say that.
M: Why did you make me care for you? Why can't I hate you?
D: It's okay. It's alright. Okay. Okay.

D: No
M: I tried calling you. I didn't know where you were. We lost the baby.

D: I promise you we’re going to get through this together, everything’s going to be ok, it’s ok.
M: It’s my life! I’m the one that could be executed for this. What gave you the right to do this?
D: I’m you husband Michelle, I love you.
M: Well stop! Stop loving me!
D: What do you mean stop loving you?
M: All those times when you said, look what our love has done to us, look where we are, maybe you were right.
D: That’s ridiculous Michelle. You know I’ll never stop. Never.
M: I’m on trial for murder, possibly facing the death penalty because of what I have done to be with you.
D: You wish we had never met.
M: No. No because you were the best thing that has ever happened to me, ever and somehow, maybe you’re the worst. I don’t know I just can’t possibly imagine my life without you. I can’t, but the more this trial progresses, the harder it gets for me to imagine that everything is just going to be ok.
D: I don’t care what you say; I will never stop loving you. I’m never going to stop fighting to be with you.

D: Were out of options Michelle.
M: Listen to me, you are not the reason I am in here.
D: it’ not true, you know it’s not true. If it weren’t for me...
M: If it weren’t for a lot of things you can’t control. Do you think that sacrificing yourself is going to help me?
D: I can’t stand this; we both know that if you weren’t married to me, you wouldn’t be in here. It’s that simple.
M: Nothing is that simple, nothing, except for the fact that I love you. I love you and I am not going to give you a divorce, I married you for life.

M: This is not, this is not what I thought my life would turn out to be like, I thought I was going to marry a man who I could share everything with, who would be my partener.
D: We're parteners. Honey, we are parteners for life. And we... and we have made it through a lot. And we can make it through this.
M: But this life, this life goes against everything that I've ever been taught. I love you so much... and I can not live in this danger anymore, I can't. You have to make a choice because you can't have it both ways anymore, Danny.

M: I was alone, or I thought I was and then Mick showed up and I, I asked him what he was doing there - he didn't answer me he just
grabbed me like I was nothing, like he could do whatever he wanted to and then throw me away... I was scared for my life Danny, God what was I suppose to do? I didn't.. I kicked him and he wouldn't let go and I kicked him again and then he tripped and I saw him coming after me again and I picked up a rock and I hit him, I'm sorry I hit him okay, God Danny I'm sorry, please I just wanted to him to stop, please.
D: Okay okay, wow, you know till now I wasn't sure it was you but you did a good job Michelle, you did a good job - you convinced me you
did, but unfortunately - oh, unfortunately your confession isn't really in your best interest.

M: You are a monster! If you think that I'm going to beg you for my life your wrong - I wouldn't give you the satisfaction.
D: (pulling out his gun) Turn around
M: If your going to kill me your going to do it starring into my face
D: Turn around
M: No, no...
D: Oh I'm sorry Michelle, I'm sorry, but there's no other choice.

13.

D: No…no you shouldn’t…look…uhhhh…I… I…I’m sorry that things…just couldn’t be different…
M: Me too……bye…Danny…(turns and walks out the door)
D: (still looking down) Okay, take care of yourself…

D: Look I never thought I'd be saying this. I never thought that I would feel this way about you. that I would fall for you but I have...I have. Michelle there isnt a single day that goes by where I dont think about you, when I dont miss you. Where I...dont want you...sighs... I know, I know I should have said all of these things before but I thought you didnt want me. So I kept all of these because I didnt wanna be hurt. I...
M: Danny I cant change what I've...
D: Look I didn't say...I want you to hear this, I need to say this. I tried really hard to get rid of my feelings for you...exhales...because I thought our marriage was over. I drank alot, I did...I did alot of things to get you out of my system. Thats why I slept with Drew, but it didnt work, it didnt work. My feelings for you only got stronger, I couldn't get rid of those feelings....penetrating stare...I want you more than I've wanted anyone in my life, and I know you feel the same way...tell me you do.

D: Okay, so where are we? You can't stay...I can't leave.
M: So what are we going to do?
D: You better go. You better go before this gets more difficult, okay?
M: Okay.
D: Come on, go. Get out of here. I'll talk to you soon, okay?
M: Bye, Danny.
D: Okay, I love you.

D: Don't you get it I am one of them... I am and you know you can't change me...and I can't be with you knowing you want to change me.
M: We can try...
D: Forget it. No...no we don't have a future. It would never work. You can't...you will never be able to accept who I am, Michelle, you know that.
M: Danny, no because...

D: Michelle if you weren’t married to me, you wouldn’t have had someone like Ben Warren in your life. Nobody would be setting you up for murder.
M: Everything, everything good that has happened to me, happened because of you.

D: Well, baby, this isn't fun.
M: No, it's not fun? Why not? Just a little meaningless sex between two friends and I've been drinking so it doesn't really count.

D: You know Michelle, it's one thing to say you'll do this, it's another thing entirely to actually go through with it... Can you... Can you go through with this?
M: Does that answer your question?

M: Why? you know what, this is your remedy, I'm following your example from what you did alright... you know what, I have one question. wha..how much do I have to drink and what do I have to do before I can forget, before I can just sleep with somebody that I don't give a danm about? Hmm? Can you tell me? Cause I don't know, I dont think theres that much liquor in Springfeild.......

M: I know that you love me, but I can’t love all of you. I can’t love the part of you that’s a Santos. I can’t do it and that’s not fair to you. That’s not enough for you.
D: Yeah it is. It would be enough for me.
M: No it’s not and if you can’t see it I have to be strong enough for the both of us. Leave me, give me an annulment.
D: No, that is not what you want. I would never do anything to hurt you, you know that.
M: I never thought you could hurt anyone like I saw you hurting Tony. I mean how, how can these hands that have touched me, in the most incredible and gentle way, be capable of doing that. No Danny, you’re like two people in one body.
D: Let me make you understand.
M: No I don’t want to understand, and I know that you don’t really want me to understand you. No, Danny please let go of me.
D: I can’t, I can’t, I can’t.

I think I'm going to go with #2 this round. I can't see 5 go yet since that was heir last scene together, it has a special place in my MD heart.

And there's other scenes in this survivor that portray #2's angst better (like 13 and 16)

I just hate that their last scene was so sad...that that's the last image of the two of them that I'll ever have (because I didn't watch once NSA came on board). Although I guess since this is an angsty scene survivor, the last scene definitely fits. I think I just kind of erased it from my mind though so it doesn't stand out amongst most of the others.

And speaking of erasing things...I'm sad that I can't recall scene #15 at all even after reading the dialogue.

^Becky, it took me a while to realize what scene #15 was too, but I was staring at the cap for like 5 minutes and I remembered. It's after they come back from San Cristobel, after trying to get Reva back, and Selena falls down the stairs at the Santos house and then Michelle is like "I have to be with Drew, I can't stay here, Danny." Do you know what I'm talking about? I kind of didn't explain it very well.

Thanks Shanna. I have a vague recollection of it now with your additional explanation, but its still not standing out. But when you have that scene compared to the shower scene, the jail scene, the "I'm setting you free scene", etc, I understand why its not a standout for me.
