| TFNT Steph, the title is true! Bringing over my last post: You know I'm glad you pointed out how sad and lonely Haley would have been on the tour Steph. I'll be honest the first time I watched I was too busy being upset with the tour/situation to stop and think, how about what she's going through? I guess because we were shown so much form Nate's POV that it was easy to paint Haley as this big old meanie that left him. Here's a 16 yr old girl trying to follow her dreams , going through all these changes without the support of her family. I've a new found appreciation for Haley. God knows I don't think I would have been brave enough to go through what she did without my parents. I really wish we had gotten more insight into how difficult it must have been for Hales without her family there. Maybe with Quinn back Haley can reveal more of her thoughts on her parents missing so much of her life. | Thanks for the new thread...  LHScott - Sorry that I didn't know your name... I agree what you said about Haley going through during S2... Honestly, not lot of girl who at 16 years old wouldn't do what Haley did and that was brave of her did that... It was nice to see her POV in S2, but we never see how she react to Nathan made choice for her and the rest of it, but to me... I'm glad that she went on tour because you never know another opportunity might never knock on your door again, so she should take it to see what was it like and others... __________________ Steph; {icon: chase the memories} Maybe I was wrong... | |||

| Elite Fan  | Thanks so much for getting the new thread started. Aww, I hope that season seven will be a good one for Haley. I'm really hoping that we get to see the many facets to Haley. I want to see Haley with her husband, with her son... I want to see Haley being a sister, and being a friend, and a musician, and... Haley's always had so many roles, and sometimes they get little focus, and I want this season to really kind of... blend all of those things more, and let us consistently see all of the many great sides to Haley. | Elite Fan | I agree with that, too, Jess. I really don't want Haley's voice to get lost in anything. I want her to have her voice come across, I want her to have something that is hers, and more than anything, I just want a balance. Haley is a mom, she is a wife, she is a sister, she is... So, I totally get how she's got a lot of people that need her, but she needs though people, too. I'm looking forward to seeing Haley's relationships this season, given she really does have a lot of roles, and she is so important to so many, and they're important to her. __________________ | |||

| What I'm worried about is that Haley has had all these roles for two seasons now and while yes we got a few stuff here and there, none were really done any justice. So why would it change now? But I want this season to be different, I have hope it will be. And if it isn't? Well at least I have Joy on screen to admire and NHJ. | That's one thing that has always kind of bugged me...whenever Haley seems to need support none of her friends are really there for her (at least it's never shown on screen like a lot of things with Haley).
