You know, I'm wondering how long Haley and Lindsey have known each other. The timeline on this show is so wonky, but, that lunch time made it seem like it had been awhile. The drivers license comment was super funny, and, it sounded so Haley. LOL.

You know one touch I noticed, that really made it seem like these two were friends and had known each other for a bit? When they're going to be seated and Haley is digging around for her lip gloss and Lindsey just hands hers over. I was like, aww, well... Looks like they've grown to be pretty good friends after Lucas started dating Lindsey.

Woot add me please! The opening is so cute and I love the banner! I instantly loved these two when I saw them on screen and they have a friendship that really seems to run deep already and they seem so comfortable with each other. I love how Lindsey said that thing about Haley being suspicious of her LOL and I also loved how she loaned Haley her lip gloss. HEE Such a small, simple gesture but still so meaningful! I really hope we see more of these two!

Amen. That is pretty much the first thing I noticed and like I mentioned before, they seem so comfortable with each other so I really think they have been friends for quite a long time.

I just thought of it today after seeing this thread that it's true that these two are really mature. I mean with Brooke or Peyton Haley is always the more mature one. Having someone at her maturity level is awesome .

Add me to the list, please? I adored their scenes together in 502 and 503. Come to think of it, she's known Lindsey the same amount of time as she's known Brooke and Peyton in OTH-time...I think. I don't exactly remember when Lucas/Lindsey started dating. But anyhoo, I love the ease between them in their scenes together.

See! I knew I couldn't have been the only one who noticed the lip gloss thing!

Rachel, if you get a chance, go back and watch for it.

It's one of those really little actions/nuances in the scheme of things, but, it's one of those things, at least for me, that helps make the relationships and friendships seem more realistic and natural. Ya know? Helps bring it to life.

Sus- I'll go ahead and get you added now, hun! And, really? I never thought of the time frame quite like that, but, now that you mention it... She has known Lindsey for awhile now, hasn't she? I guess the girls will have known each other for at least a couple of years. I had been trying to figure out just how long they might have known each other, and I couldn't quite figure...

Well, what was interesting about their scenes to me, is that they jumped in and were talking about real life stuff, stuff you'd say to someone you had at least some comfort with. That, that I liked.

They were talking about Lucas and his writer block, Haley hiring the nanny, just... Real life stuff you'd talk about out to lunch with a friend.

Thanks so much for this gorgeous thread start, Sammie!! I'm totally digging this friendship this season and like all of you, I love how comfortable the two of them are with each other. The lip gloss thing was too cute!

The thing that makes me think they have been close for awhile is the way Haley defended her when Peyton was ranting about the lucky bamboo. Haley immediately jumped in there and was just like, ya know that really just doesn't sound like her. I loved that. That kind of just proved to me exactly how close they are. I'm thinking that what with Lindsey splitting her time in Tree Hill and with Brooke and Peyton being gone, Haley needed some girl time and Lindsey fit that role perfectly. LOL.

^I agree Kylie. It seems like over the past 4 year, or whenever Haley and Lindsey met, they became close. I really like Lindsey and she seems like a really nice person with really good intentions. I loved that Haley was quick to defend her too, I mean you dont just do that for anyone, let alone to one of your closest friend since high school. That to me showed how good friends they are.

I hope in future episode we will see more scene between them. We didn't get that many so far, but the one we did were really great and I hope to see more of that.
