Why Joy: She's got such rare talent, really an array of talents that are phenomenal. In this industry... I feel like she's a standout. She's able to do so many things and do them so amazingly, not just do a whole bunch of things, and be mediocre. When she does it, it's for real, whether it be acting or singing or dancing etc. Whether it's on stage or a for the screen, she's able to capture and convey so much, so many layers and just... She's able to move, with just a look. There are lots of reasons why. LOL.
Were you drawn to Joy as an actress or a musician first: Actress, I didn't even know she had an ability to sing until I saw her singing as Haley. I recall thinking.... "Is that really her? Did they just use someone else to sing for-...? They really have that lip-synch thing perfected. I can't even tell... Wait, wait. That's her. That's her with that voice! OMG.. It's her! For real?!" LOL.

Why Joy: Oh man, there is so much I can say about Joy. When I first saw her on One Tree Hill, I fell for her charm instantly. I think she is genuine in all her roles and she can take a character and make you feel for her, believe her, like her and she also makes other characters believable. I feel like whatever Joy puts her mind to, she can do it, whether it's a tv show, a movie, music, a musical or hell even a restaurant! The girl can do it all and I love her for it! She goes for her dreams, she isn't afraid to show who she is and follow her heart. I always loved that she had her own style, whatever the subject might be, and she loves to challenge herself and encourages people to think, to look beyond what is visible to the eye. She is a true inspiration and seems like a genuinely kind, warm hearted person. The girl has talent in bulks yet she doesn't try to flash it around. Her music is real, she puts her heart and soul into her work and I really can't see how you couldn't love her. I feel really lucky to be a fan!
Were you drawn to Joy as an actress or a musician first: Actress. That is when I first discovered her and wow, did she make me go WOW from the very first second. She truly enthralls you on your screen and later when I heard her music, well, I think it's safe to say I was completely and utterly SMITTEN.

Why Joy: For me, Joy is it. She has so many facets to her talent and personality that it's hard not to be captivated by her. She has something that I think is so rare in a person, not just in terms of her extraordinary ability, but in her presence, and the way she conducts herself. She has this natural charisma that surrounds her, that draws you in, and she manages to keep your attention. When she's on stage, or on screen, she's so much more than an actress. The way she reels you in, and keeps you hooked, the way she portrays emotion, and the different ways she finds to tell the story, not just in the obvious but in the subtlety as well. She is such a beautiful person, not only in terms of her gorgeousness, but in terms of her soul and spirit, and how she shares that bit of herself with you through her music.
Were you drawn to Joy as an actress or a musician first: As an actress first, and then I heard her sing on the show and had to find out more about her music. I was seriously stunned when I heard the AMAZINGNESS this woman can produce, there are so many layers and meanings to her songs, her lyrics blow me away!
