Getting to Know Your Mods! Name or Nickname: Krystal, Krys, K. I answer and respond to any and all of those and some others, too. LOL. Birthday: February 7th State or Country: California Favorite Joie Work: Guiding Light (through clips) and One Tree Hill Why Joy: She's got such rare talent, really an array of talents that are phenomenal. In this industry... I feel like she's a standout. She's able to do so many things and do them so amazingly, not just do a whole bunch of things, and be mediocre. When she does it, it's for real, whether it be acting or singing or dancing etc. Whether it's on stage or a for the screen, she's able to capture and convey so much, so many layers and just... She's able to move, with just a look. There are lots of reasons why. LOL. Were you drawn to Joy as an actress or a musician first: Actress, I didn't even know she had an ability to sing until I saw her singing as Haley. I recall thinking.... "Is that really her? Did they just use someone else to sing for-...? They really have that lip-synch thing perfected. I can't even tell... Wait, wait. That's her. That's her with that voice! OMG.. It's her! For real?!" LOL. Other boards you visit at FF: Name or Nickname: Kylie, Kye, Kylimel, Kylissa Birthday: September 4th / 22 State or Country: Illinois Favorite Joie Work: One Tree Hill Why Joy: All I can say is, why not?! She is the complete package and more. She has continued to amaze me with her talent for all things acting, singing, and instrumental. She is such a positive role model for all ages and has brought so many positive things to my life without even meeting me. It still amazes me how I can just put on one song from her and it instantly calms me down and puts a smile on my face. She has done so much with her life at such a young age and I know that there are only even greater things for her out there in the future. Were you drawn to Joy as an actress or a musician first: Actress. The first time I ever saw her was on OTH and from the moment she came onto the screen, I was just captivated. When she sang, I hunted and hunted to find anything by her and was amazed to learn she had other songs out there. Her voice is so beautiful and I feel so lucky to have heard it at all! | Okay kiddos - we tried this last time, but let's try it again! We would love love LOVE it if we could start linking to new threads in this thread after you start a new one! It isn't too hard and it doesn't take too much time and it will really help Krys and I keep this thread as updated as possible for new posters. So please, if you start a new thread, just drop by here and post a link to said thread. That way, Krys and I have a reminder right away that we need to update the OP. So yeah, try your hardest to remember! And Krys and I will do the same.  | |||

| I just realised even though I've been posting here for awhile now I fogot to introduce myself so here goes: Name or Nickname: Jess Birthday / Age: 23 State or Country: Australia Favorite Joie Work: Guiding Light and One Tree Hill Why Joy: So many reasons so little time. I don't know how else to put it but simply whether I hear her sing or act I feel & connect to her words and characters she's portraying. Her singing it's so beautiful and you can tell it comes from the heart. She doesn't overract, she's subtle and can convey so many emotions with just her eyes, smile or touch. She's an amazing talent, inspiring and I admire her love of family and wish I had her hair Were you drawn to Joy as an actress or a musician first: As an actress. I first saw her in the pilot of OTH. I thought she was the main girl and to this day I still can't believe how someone with so much talent can be ignored on that show. Though to me there's no doubt about it she is the leading lady and the main reason I've stuck with it for 6 seasons. Than I heard her sing and her voice as corny as it sounds just touched me. Recently I discovered her in GL from clips and I was blown away all over again.
