Anyway, it was posted on twitter that Joy was planning to do a concert but it fell through due to last minute issues. I suppose it's possible she might have some new songs in the works. I haven't come across anything yet, but she did happen to mention anything regarding her music? She did follow some new accounts on twitter recently and I presume she might be working with those folks?

That's too bad re the music show. The new producer she is working with tweeted the guy that books Le Duc des Lombardes - a famous jazz spot in Paris - re setting up a jazz show a little while ago. That must have been it. Wonder what happened.

Maybe we will see her sing with Tyler in Milan. Just not WTSGB apparently based on what she said at FWTP haha.

tbh I don't know if she has the right to be picky. There are certain mediums that don't give you much credibility, and soap style teen dramas are one of them. You can be on a soap or a teen drama for ten years and there is still a sense of "second-class actor" syndrome that goes on. In fact, the longer you stay, the more it hurts you imo. She has the talent though, and if she wants to move to a more serious cable or even network show, she does have to remind people she exists. Her lack of visibility is what saddens me as a fan of her acting.

That being said, it's her life. If she never wants to act again, that is her absolutely her choice.

uh. I never said that I knew her intention at all. I said "IF"... meaning she has autonomy over her own decision making when it involves her career, and that is her right.
