Bethany Joy - Joy Board Name Thread: We're one big happy family over here, err, or happy mafia? Really, we care! We want to know you!

Hey guys! We've always thought this would be a good idea, but especially now, with the increasing traffic, and increasing number of posters, we thought it would be a great idea to have a one-stop name thread.

So, whether you're a poster who was on the board from the beginning, or you're a new poster just coming in to our fold, or even a poster who has been around, taken a hiatus, and then returned? Pop in, and post your name in the thread. That way, we can make sure we definitely include everyone in our conversations, and we don't have to wonder what so and so's name is. LOL. Some of us have a pretty good grasp on everyone's names, some of us don't. Also, this way, those who are coming in who are new, get to jump right in, and get to know our names, too. And, if anyone gets stuck not knowing a name, whether they're a new or old poster, they'll have an easy cheat sheet to look up someone's name. LOL.

We really just want to make it easy for all of our posters to feel included right off the bat.

We want to continue to do all we can to make this board as welcoming and inclusive as possible. This is one of the ways we're looking to do that! So, make sure all of you pop in, and share your name, so that we can make one huge list in the opening! Sound cool?

Aww, yay! Glad you like the idea, it was definitely the hope that it would help everyone out, whether they were new or old posters. Plus, what with name changes that have occurred over the years, and... So, it's good to see you don't think the idea is super lame and instead helpful. LOL.

Thanks so much for getting the thread started, Krys! I remember us talking about this thread ages ago and it was nagging me lately. It was such a good idea you had and I'm glad we're finally getting it started! It will be so great to have a place with everyone's names all organized.

Great idea! I have a pretty good grasp on everyone's names, but occasionally I second guess myself and double check in the Intro thread to make sure I'm right before I call someone by name
