| Love the new thread. at the title. It's Friday!! Super Bowl this Sunday! For anyone who's interested: Patriots or Eagles? My mom finally mailed me the DVD today. She said it'll be here by Saturday. Which means Saturday evening and Sunday will be a huge OTH fest for me! | Not too interested in the whole soundtrack, so I just got WTSGB off of Itunes. I know some people didn't like it, but I enjoy it muchly. BJL really does need to put some more music out there. | |||

| Hey crazy heads, we're almost to 25,000 wowza! Well I enjoy WTSGB for what it is OUTSIDE of the show...and knowing Joie put a lot into the song apparently (from Tyler's mouth) makes me appreciate it even more. I have the soundtrack...It's decent. Freaking love Butch Walker's Mix Tape lol. And IA, she needs to put more music out there now!! __________________ | |||

| Wellllll there aren't actually bonus feature on the CD itself, but there is a link to the site where you can register to see all the "bonus" features. I'm guessing they're going to add more as time goes by? I don't really know. I'm confused. But here's the site: http://www.maverickecd.com/onetreehill/register.php There's this whole clip of Joie and Tyler in the studio (stuff we've seen and new stuff). But I wasn't able to watch all of it...so I can't tell you. But register, it's really quick and easy. ETA: not a clip (though there is a clip of Mark talking about it), but some written comments on the OST by Mark. 7. TYLER HILTON - GLAD (ACOUSTIC) When we held auditions for the role of Chris, we asked each actor to bring a guitar and play a song. After a few painful performances, we asked for half a song. Then just a verse. Tyler auditioned last. He played one verse of GLAD and stopped. I looked at Joe Davola and then turned to Tyler and said, "OK, you can play the whole thing." He did. And he had the role of Chris before he got to the second chorus 10. TYLER HILTON/BETHANY JOY LENZ - WHEN THE STARS GO BLUE Joy had asked if Haley (her character) could sing on the show. So after we created Tyler's character and arc, we began searching for a song that they could do together. Having used a couple Ryan Adams songs on the show, we contacted Ryan about writing something new. His schedule wouldn't allow it, but he suggested WHEN THE STARS GO BLUE. Joy and Tyler agreed, and this amazing version is a glaring example of how some people got twice as much talent as I did. 14. TRESPASSERS WILLIAM - LIE IN THE SOUND This song encompasses so much of what we try to do with music on One Tree Hill. The band is young - still a best kept secret. Someone's favorite band. The song is epic. Heartbreaking. But at the same time, comforting. The lyrics are so true to Nathan and Haley. The timing is cruel. I need you too much. But oh, the payoff. To hear the person you love simply say so. And to bathe yourself in those words.
