^Exactly. And I like that it's Haley/Brooke too, because so far this season, they've had the least amount of scenes together. Which makes total sense given the storylines, but I would like to see them together soon, sot his makes me excited! Plus Brooke and Hales are crazy, so it should be fun! Plus a psychic, hmm. I'm looking forward to this one!

I think it will be fun to see them together too, especially since some time has passed between this and last season plus they could have them bond more now that they have a new season and some new cast going too.

I'll be honest and say that Brooke and Haley scenes have typically made me nervous, and BH isn't my favorite pairing on the canvas, it never has been, but, at the same time, I totally respect that they have a good sized fanbase, they're brought to life by two of the main three leads remaining, IMO, and the history and that part of the canvas deserves a nod, I guess, and I can say all of that with less trepidation this season, because I also think that the writing thus far this season has really taken care of Haley, like really taken care of Haley, as far as allowing us to see her thoughts, her opinions, not making her a prop, almost more than any other characters, I feel Haley is getting decent writing, in that, we we get to see her motivations, and see her talking to peeps about what, why, how...

Haley has been the furthest thing from a prop this season. I mean, the characters of Haley and Clay are damn near getting more focus in this Renee scandal than Nathan is. I kid... Sort of. But, really on my point... LOL.

So, I'm totally fine with the mention of the BH stuff for now. The show has been different so far this season. My objection of Haley + Anyone scenes, really, is when the scenes are one-sided, if that makes sense. I don't know if it does. When Haley gets fair balance/focus/isn't a prop, I'm usually on board and can handle most any combo, as long as I don't think the other person is detrimental to Hales, etc., I can find redeeming qualities, etc. But, I'll back off my stance THISQUICK if this episode proves to me that all of my reasons for usually being nervous are merited, and all Haley does is prop. But, for now, until I'm proven that the spell of this season is broken, I'm cool and totally open-minded.

I rather like that Joy/Haley is getting so much movement throughout the canvas, again, almost more than any other characters.

I agree with all this and I know exactly what you mean.

I still don't think BH will spend the entire ep together though

But just like in every ep, I want balanced scenes for Haley. Do I think will get it in this ep? Magic 8 ball is not so sure right now, ask later...LOL.

I think and hope they will, i think NH will probably have a scene before the boys leave, then she might have a scene with Quinn and ask the usual question she asks every single episode: "what happened with David" and then maybe BH start hanging out and later Quinn comes home to find BH and she joins them and they all decides to call the fortune teller. IDK

I find this funny. Mostly because here I am worrying about Haley propping Brooke, when we could get Haley propping Brooke and Quinn. LOL. Ah fun times.

For me, I want Haley to ask about David and I want her to ask about Julian for Brooke. But I want them to ask her something about herself back. It's a small request, and not rocket science, but it's OTH, history is not on Haley's side.

However, this season has been good to Haley, I think it'll continue *fingers crossed*.

I think there's been a great balance in almost all of Haley's scenes with other people this season, so I'm really not worried about it. I think we'll continue to get some great stuff, especially the BH because it has seemed in the scenes we've had this season that Brooke is really supporting Haley with everything that's going on. If a conversation between Brooke and Haley in this episode starts out about Brooke and her problems, I believe it'll end up talking about Haley and hers, or there will be another scene talking about Haley to balance it out.

Same here, I've been more of a PH fan than BH. I think it was mostly because I loved Hil/Joy together, and we knew they were friends off-set, so that translated on screen. But last season, I really loved the BH scenes. The one that stands out is from 6.16 when Haley goes into COB to tell Brooke what a great job she's doing with Sam. I mean up until last season, I was NOT an avid BH fan since season 3. I think mostly because Haley WAS a prop in all the BH scenes or their scenes just seemed oddly-placed or out of the blue. But last season I really felt them connect again. I always thought Haley was closer to Peyton than Brooke, but I still thought Brooke was Haley's friend. And now that Peyton is gone, Brooke's best friend, and one of Haley's best female friends, I'd like to see where the BH scenes lead. Like I said before, they haven't had many scenes this season yet, so I'm curious to see what goes down when they hang out. And a girls night? Seems like fun to me! Hopefully the writing of the show delivers like it has all season thus far.

^ But wasn't S6 where Haley was mostly the prop to Brooke? That scene in COB was about Brooke/Sam. I don't recall, so someone correct me if I'm wrong and I take back what I say if I am, but did Brooke mention anything about Haley taking the fall for Sam's paper? Or ask something regarding Haley and how she's doing with her teaching, life ect? Maybe she did, I just can't remember.

^You mean with the Sam storyline? I don't think Haley was propping Brooke because they took Sam away from Haley too fast for that.

Sam was Haley's student first, and Haley was the one too even suggest that Brooke take Sam in. TBH, I'm glad Brooke did. I was not a fan of the Sam storyline, and I'd rather they send her off with Brooke than her get in the way of what Haley is doing. I liked Haley/Sam in the classroom, but outside of that, not so much. I don't know, I guess I'm just trying to say I liked the season 6 BH scenes wayyyyy better than the BH scenes in season 4 and 5. Plus, this is a new season where the balancing of characters has been great so far. And Sophia and Joy are the two main female leads now. I'd like to give them a chance before jumping the gun. The past is the past, hopefully we can move on.

I didn't want Sam for Haley, but all I can recall from BH scenes in S6, they revolved around Sam. Also the one you pointed out in COB with the hug, I'm sure they were talking about Sam again and nothing about Haley losing her job.

I'm a BH fan so I'm not being negative for the sake of it, LOL. I enjoy Soph/Joy's chemistry and I have always liked them, but I can see why others think Haley props Brooke, because most of the time she does and as a fan I can admit that (but really the same could be said for Haley and every other character, she just props a lot LOL). But with Brooke in S4, they took it too far with the pregnancy and test imo. S5 was nonexistent and S6, again all their scenes seemed to be about Brooke except maybe in 7.01 when it was about LP.

This season though, they have been great and aside from that scene in 7.01 which while was good writing, seemed awkward, their scenes in 7.03 showed me why I am a fan of them, like the old magic was back. I just want it to stay that way because as the two female leads they should be. But I also don't want it at the expense of Quinn and Clay scenes with Haley (which I guess isn't a problem because Haley more than any other character has had the most varied interactions with everyone as Krys also pointed out). I just want balance (the magic word). Also they haven't had many scenes yet so it's not like them having scenes in 7.08 will be overkill LOL. It's just if I wasn't worried about the balance in writing I would be jumping for joy about the girl’s night, because it sounds like it will be fun.

I'm not going to get my hopes up but I'm also not going to be expecting the worst either, because as already mentioned this season has been kind in showing Haley's feelings and POV.

Yeah, they were talking about Sam. But what I'm saying is, I don't get how Haley was propping Brooke in that scene since Sam is relevant to both of them. I never said Haley WASN'T propping Brooke in season 6, because at points she did. I said I felt like their scenes together were more REAL that season. I do think Haley props Brooke a lot, but I'd like to give them a chance this season because of how the writing's been.

Looks like i'm the only hardcore BH fan in here, see i respect all of you guys for liking PH, i for one don't see the connection but we can't all like the same things, it'd be boring I get that PH were close in s1 & even s2 but in s3 i hated the way Peyton treated Haley & in s4 they barely had any scenes, i liked the way BH went from no friends at all in s1 - to slighlty friends in s2 - to really good friends in s3 and so on.

I love the small details as well like how Brooke was Haley's maid of honor or the the only girl Haley thanked in 4x09 after the girls took her to the hospital or the godmother thing.

I respect everyone's preferences but i'm sad to be the only BH hardcore fan in here.

And i see where you guys are coming from when you mentionned Haley propping but it's not just with Brooke, it's with everyone.
