So very appreciated, and I think the title is cutie.

I loved reading the posts at the tail-end of the last thread. So much thought, and all such valid points.

Jess- I think you could really be on to something, in regards to expectations playing a huge, huge, huge factor in some of what some seem to be experiencing.

Stephanie- I could not agree more with pretty much all of your post in the last thread. I was going to quote all of what you said, and respond, but then I thought I might be redundant. LMFAO. But, so agreed.

I have no problems with the writing of Quinn thus far, not even a little, it's more for me, about how some of it's coming to life. In fact, it has everything to do with how it's playing across, and nothing to do with the writing. That's where I'm feeling the disconnect at times. And, you know, I think luckily, that's the best case scenario, because-! Bad writing kills characters and relationship dynamics, regardless of... But, good writing, and good chemistry, which I do think Joy and Shantel have and are continuing to develop? That gives me all of the hope in the world. If I don't fully latch on to Quinn how I expected to, though, I still will love and complete dig HQ so much. I could not be happier Haley has a sister. END.

I already like the insight we're getting in to Haley, in to their family, etc. And, it's only been two episodes. I love this side of Haley we're seeing. It's great seeing Haley as a sister. I think Joy and Shantel have done really well doing the little things to bring these two to life, and I buy the trust and intimacy Haley and Quinn have, as far as their relationship goes. I like that they're starting to show us that dynamic where these two can get right down to the heart of the matter with each other, they trust each other with anything. They can get a bit snippy or push each other for details or for answers... We saw Quinn question Haley in episode one where Haley missed the noise, and we saw it in episode two, when Haley was pushing Quinn about peeps having the right to change... But then, bam! Just like that, they're back to hugging and supporting the other, and it just seems so much like real sisters, the writing. How you can slip in and out of different moods and moments with siblings, but still keep that underlying sentiment of just love and wanting the best for them, even if you're being snarky with each other, or disagreeing, or- I get that whole feel with what we're seeing with HQ so far. I love that. I cannot wait to see what's coming next, especially with the Renee situation on the horizon, and Quinn's marital problems still in existence. So much potential.

GAH Krys this is exactly how I feel! Even if I`m probably the only one who is not so thrilled with her SL right now, I really love the dynamic between HQ so I enjoy watching any of their scenes. When the Season started I immediately liked Quinn`s energy and her presence on the screen so everything else didn`t bother me so much. I just don`t want the thing with her husband to be all they focus on. It`s way too early to tell what her role will be on the show but I just don`t want to get bored with her character because I really like her. The show has ruined some other character`s for me in the past and it`s disappointing. I just want Quinn to be included in as much as possible because she is connected to Haley and Haley is the main reason I watch. I have a feeling that we will get some great HQ scenes in the next episode and I`m really excited for that!

I must agree with K and say that so far, I am loving Quinn and I think Shantel is doing a stellar job. It can't be easy to jump into a show where thew cast and the characters have had 7 years or so to build up chemistry and relationships and then to come in as a new character and try to form that instant connection because Quinn is supposed to be someone they know, someone the Scott's especially already have a strong bond with so I really think thus far, they have done a good job of portraying it. I am very pleased with Haley and Quinn and the stuff we have gotten and it only goes to show that the sisterly bond is there.

I love the intimacy that Quinn and Haley already share and how they confide in each other. I adored the scene in 702 where Haley said she had to go to the studio to take care of the problems there and even with Quinn being sad about her situation with David, she instantly offered to help Haley and asked if there was anything she could do. I love that little moment, while it might seem like a no big deal to some watchers, I think it's a very sisterly thing to do and the way they have been there for each other already is amazing. I really hope they keep developing it because they are off to a good start and there is so, so much potential there!

I am also hoping for some more talk of their family between Haley and Quinn! I always loved Jimmy and Lydia and would love to hear the mention them sometime! I bet they could share some good memories. AND please oh please let them show us some random pics of Haley and Quinn together!

That line from Quinn really stood out to me too, she wa so quick to offer help despite her own problems. Also we know Haley must have told her about RBR (even if we didn't see the convo on screen). They are so close and I love that.

I would so love some pics of HQ around the house, or even some of them as kids. We need more family stories too.

Exactly! I already see the sisterly connection there and this far, I don't think it has been awkward or forced between Joy and Shantel and I am loving it! I really can't wait to see more and the way they already act around each other, how comfortable they are, only makes me more excited about the possibilities in future episodes.

So true, Myra. This is definitely how I feel, as well. And, yes, I'm always afraid the show is going to ruin a character, but they're doing really well in the writing department of both Quinn and Clay, IMO. Like, really well. I think it helps that they smartly brought them in as close links to N and H and are taking them to show us those relationships and bonds, they aren't just talking about it.

You know what may sound weird? I'm really looking forward to seeing what types of things Haley and Quinn fight about it, and how they fight. LOL. They both seem to be pretty strong-willed, and they both seem to have some similar traits, but they also have such a mind of their own, I'm really interesting to see that dynamic in their relationship play out, too. Not over betrayals or anything ridic, but just over sister stuff and normal disagreements, or arguing of certain points.
