I love this (completely platonic) dynamic between Haley and Quentin! I really love that Quentin is an unapologetic jackass. I love that Haley still cares and tries to get him to come back to school. I love that he's got a swagger. I love that Haley's just like "eh whatever" about said swagger. But she still cares and wants to get through to him. I love that she'll prob talk to Nathan about him. There's just something about this dynamic that could be so awesome if the writers follow the natural progression of this storyline.

Also, Robbie (?) is pretty hot, and I like the eye candy. What can I say, sometimes I'm shallow. Hee.

A couple of days ago I said that I'm really liking the Haley/Quentin dynamic so far but now...I'm not sure they're going to give him any more depth than he already has. I wonder why all of the sudden I'm giving up on this. Weird.

Hey, does anyone have Haley's quote on the statistics of getting a job without graduating? I was impressed by that speech. I love confrontive Haley!

I love the Haley/Quentin interactions today.

It's great to see that Haley's such a concerned teacher who isn't willing to let even the worst of people fall through the cracks. I love that she gave him Les Miserables, because I know how much that book means to Joie. Symbolism? Possibly. And I love her calm and cool approach when she was handing it to him. It wasn't angry or demeaning, it was caring and sweet and goes to show how genuine Haley is in her efforts.

I loved that she didn't give up on him, even if he deserved it. That's whats great about Haley, she doesn't give up on people. She saw something good in Quentin and she tried her hardest to bring it out, and I'm glad because I think she finally got to him. Les Miserables

Not only could that be Joy symbolism, but possibly Haley symbolism too. Since Haley sang the finale to Les Miserables when she was nervous on tour. I know Quentin is a jerk, but I'm seeing a new light in him after this episode. I think Haley, Nathan, and Lucas got to him and I hope that he stays like this.

^I wonder what Q's thoughts on the book are, and if it effects him in any way. Maybe it does and he'll change a bit, or maybe it won't and he's simply reading it for the basketball. Whatever his motive for doing the work is, the outcome is going to positive, and I love that NHL were able to work to get him to that point.

Les Miserables is one of the best stories I've ever read. I saw the play, read the book, watched the movie; and loved them all. Not in that order though. I love how Haley gave him that book, I think he'll get a lot out of it. I mean how could he not. I'm very interested in seeing how his bi-weekly reports turn out!

^I've actually never saw, read or watched LM but for Joie I'll put it on my To-Do list.

I'm also interested if Q will do his bi-weekly reports, and what Haley will think of his work. I'm sure the kid's got it in him to shape up to be a fine student.

That clip is nuts! Quentin just jumps out of nowhere and punches the living daylights out of K-Fed. I'm so interested in what Haley's reaction to all of this is. And I'm guessing not to happy.

I wanna see Haley's reaction too. You can hear her say "OHH" when Quentin punches Kfed, but they don't show her reaction in that clip. Quentin for serious came out of nowhere, and he hit him hard. Very hard. All I'm saying is he must really like Mrs. James-Scott to punch someone in her honor. That or he just really wanted to hit someone
