I haven't seen the scenes yet but Miranda put up a time frame of 6 months for Hales to release her album?

As someone who has very patiently waited for Haley to finally release another album since S3 and who was seriously frustrated at the lack of development on that front in S5/S6, can I say a hell yes! Finally looks like we might be getting some forward movement on Haley/music. At first I was apprehensive because I loved teacher Hales! But it seemed the show never was able to capitalise on teaching storylines, so at least with music/RBR they might put more effort into writing and developing it for Haley.

This might not be popular but I kinda like Miranda. IDK, she's not lying about who she is and her line about agreeing with Peyton that the major record labels are soulless kinda just showed me that. I can't wait to see how her and Haley's scenes play out and maybe we will see Miranda have a change of heart once she sees just how much the label means to Haley (and Peyton) and why it's so important. I think we've already gotten a glimpse of how she already respects Haley when she told her about the honesty and integrity.

Jo - I am kind of liking her too. It might turn out that I jumped the gun on wanting to be on the list/thinking I will like her (usually I like to see where things will go but this season I have been kind of jumping in quick ) but I think I am really going to like their interactions.

Haley cracked me up with her little epiphany in regards to how to try and save the label. You might be a genius, Haley. Thank you, Haley. Bwah.

The Miranda/Haley/Mia stuff made me laugh. It just did. Haley's plot was hilar.

Who's the bitch now, bitch? WIN. She just wins. The way she leveled the look at Miranda, delivered that line, and the way she proceeded to strut out of there like she knew she was the baddest bitch. Love seeing that feisty side of Haley continue to emerge when necessary. I also liked the shades of humanity we saw from Miranda.

I'm super liking what we're seeing for Haley in regards to RBR. I like the Haley and Miranda dynamic quite a bit.

It's like... I really like Haley having an adversary like that, where it's kind of unsure, and it's difficult to tell what's what when it comes to Miranda, her intentions, etc. Yet, the potential for them to become friends is totally there.

Will she be helpful of Haley, will she be looking over Haley's shoulder waiting for her to mess up so she can try to swoop in and get the label from Haley, will they become friends, will they...

I'm glad that this story that was once stagnant is progressing. Haley's been talking about this album thing for... Yeah. Now, finally, finally, we get to see the story not only progressing, but we're not just being told about, they're showing us, too. LOL. WIN.

Oh add me! I'm loving these two so far. Miranda seems to have come kind of a heart, which is good. I think it started out bad, but these two will be fine, maybe even friends as the season goes on. Plus India is a good actress, and I totally dig the British accent.

I like that they showed us a glimmer of Miranda's softer side, too. It gives me hope that maybe, just maybe, she and Haley might be able to form a legit bond. I like it. I'll be interested to see their progression. And, yup, India is a good actress. I've liked all of her scenes. She and Joy play well off of each other.

I have to say I don't hate Miranda either. I think you gotta be tough in the business she is in and clearly, she knows that. I loved what she said to Haley after she mentioned the whole soulless thing and perhaps in a way she was also testing Haley. I hope we find out more about it but really, I think this can develop into an even bigger and better storyline and maybe Miranda and Haley can actually end up helping and inspiring each other. I am sure crazier things have happened.

Agreed, K. I love it and I am not sure how long she is supposed to stick around for but I do hope it's a while, because like said, I think they have potential to do something big with RBR together.

I hope she stays for awhile too. But on some conditions:

1. She stays there to serve Haley's storyline.
2. She doesn't get more screen time than Haley.
3. She doesn't get her own storyline outside of Haley, i.e. we see her fall in love with a bar tender than have her father come by and we find out that's the reason she's a bitch because she's trying to impress daddy. You guys get my drift. I don't mind getting more background on who she is to fleshen her out a bit, but as a guest star, not her own storylines.

If the above doesn’t happen, than she’s welcome to stay as long as she's needed, because I really do like Miranda & her interactions with Hales.
