I think there is a link to it on The Rivercourt somewhere on the homepage of TCW. Does anyone have a link, I used to have a link to like a memorable entries page or something where it had links to all of the chapters? I used to have it and lost it when I switched computers.

I see it on the front of TCW... You have to look at that said "Recommended In-Progress Fic" that where I see the link under Colossal Mistakes & Tiny Miracles...

Thank you so much for this Renata! I was looking all over for it! Even though I know it's plagiarized (for shame) I've become invested in and have grown attached to each of the characters, so I'm excited to learn how it ends. You are a doll!

Oh thank you so much Renata! I'm kind of ashamed to admit that I enjoyed that fic so much that I was/am willing to overlook the fact that it is plagiarized - it's terrible I know.

I don't know if anyone here has ever read or heard of Susan Elizabeth Phillips but she writes some really cheesey yet what I consider quite good romance stories and I just re-read 'Match Me If You Can' and couldn't help but imagine Haley as the main female character and Nathan as the main male character. I'd love it if someone would attempt an adaptation of that story to fit OTH, especially since I first heard about SEP through someone writing a Pacey and Joey fic based on one of her books.

I love most of SEP's books. Every once in a while she writes one that isn't up to par, but I consider her one of the best contemporary romance writers and the only one that I still read. (I'm more of a suspense/mystery (with a side of romance) reader these days...Lisa Gardner-type novels).

I'd love to see someone adapt one of SEP's stories for NH as long as it wasn't blatantly plagiarized. I read "Match Me if You Can" years ago and agree that that would be a good one to adapt. "Natural Born Charmer" could work as well.

Just curious, which of her stories was adapted for PJ?

Same here. I started reading over ff.net and I wanted to know how it ended.

Yay for an update, Lori! Thanks for letting us know. I'm definitely putting it on my reading list for this weekend.

I actually just finished re-reading The Limit and just started re-reading Getting it all Back. Those are 2 fics that never get old for me.

I agree some haven't been so great but I think my favourites, barring a few exceptions, are from the Stars series and most of those have been quite good IMO. I don't tend to read a lot of romance novels because I find a lot of them really bad but I always like re-reading the SEP books that I have from time to time as they are quite entertaining - I love the way she uses humour and the sassy and quirky female leads in conjunction with the incredibly charming male leads - probably why I can see Nathan and Haley in them, at least how I see them characterised like in Nancy fics because I tend to prefer those versions to the show version.

It was Nobody's Baby But Mine and it was never completed but I found it quite good and intriguing at the time so I ended up getting the book to read when I came across it at Borders one day.

I agree about SEP's Stars series books usually being the best. My least favorite Stars book is actually the first one in the series. I'm glad I continued on with them, though. And, yes, the reason I like them is just as you've stated. Its her humor and the way she writes her leads, both female and male.

Was the PJ fic called Nobody's Baby But Mine as well? I'll have to look for it even though its not finished. That shouldn't be a huge problem since I know how the book ends.
