I read fics fast because I get so invested in them, I finish within 2 days usually. So maybe tonight I will start TOLB and see how far I get.

TOLB is wonderful and I hope you enjoy it but its angsty with NH apart through a good portion of it and a good deal of focus on Haley's friendship with Brooke and Tim. I'm no fan of the Haley/Brooke friendship on the show, but I did enjoy it in this fic. Its definitely a unique take on their friendship with Tim thrown into the mix. If you enjoy Brynne's writing and always keep in mind that she's an NH fan, then I think you'll appreciate/enjoy the story.

The note written before Shiver says its a continuation of Fever and I haven't read Shiver yet, but I did see Jamie's name mentioned in the first paragraph, so if its a sequel its one written far in the future after the period in which Fever was written (Season 3). I'm thinking you could read it without re-reading Fever with no problems.

Since you guys talked about Mel's fanfic, Fever, I have to dig into it and find her fanfic to read it. I feel in my guts that I might like it since you guys obviously compliment about it.

Oh yeah, DEFFF a fan of Brynne's writing. I definitely read the beginning of TOLB before, because I remember I didn't like it too much so I stopped. but that was like 2 years sgo, so I'll deff give it another chance. And yeah same, I'm not a fan of H/B on OTH as much, but in ficland I usually enjoy it. The way Brynne/fic authors writes Brooke is way different than the OTH writers write her.

So I started reading TOLB, and I'm so glad I saved it until now. It has so much more impact on me at this very moment, because I'm in that same moment in my life. Going to college, and being the one staying home when all my friends leave. I can totally and completely relate. But I feel the heartache coming already, and I'm only up to Chapter 2.

Get ready for heartache galore, Shanna. It's such an amazing fic... but it sure does turn up the angst-o-meter on occasion. Just make sure you have someone who has read it to 'hold your hand' through the difficult parts

As much as I adore TOLB... I have to admit that for me, the best thing about it is that you get to read Getting It All Back afterwards. Fave. Fic Ever.

I've never read TOLB or GIAB either, though I've been meaning to for quite a while now. I think I have to be in a good frame of mind to read them because they just sound so angsty.
