She told Peyton they were gonna come back after the baby was born, but then the baby came early and they were a no show.

I wish Huey Lewis wasn't so freaking expensive. I really want him back, the James' were sooooo hilarious.

^Word. Haley's parents were a riot! I loved them on OTH. And funny thing was that, I remember for two seconds when I initially watched the season two premiere I thought Haley's parents were black because of Miriam's (or whatever her name was) random appearance in her kitchen. Heh.

Dude, I thought the same thing! I was so confused

I was like "Haley doesn't look black to me.."

On a random note, what is Joy's background? I can't tell what she is.

Aw that sucks her parents never called, but did any of her siblings call to wish luck to their baby sister? Um nope

^Oh the siblings, that's another problem I have that I know will never be addressed by the show. I think I should avoid that all together.

Don't quote me on this but I think Joy Australian, Scottish and German. I'm not 100% sure about German part, but I'm pretty sure of the other two.

Amelia and Lena! Welcome to the thread, girls.

Marion! I totally forgot about her. She's another adult character that I thought had some funny/cute interaction with Haley. I really wish they would have made her related to Skills so that when Haley's parents took off on their RV trip, that Marion could have stuck around for Haley to see around town sporadically, or even just for some comedic relief. Their scenes were so good, and it really did seem like she was close with Haley's family/parents.

And, yup. Karen and Haley. So much love. I really loved that Haley was like Karen's surrogate daughter, and I was so glad when we got those scenes this season where Haley went to Karen when she was having a tough time of it. I'll always wish they'd given these two more scenes.

Oh right, it was Marion. Even if the producers couldn't get the actors who played Joy's parents come back, I'm sure they could have had Marion pop in sporadically to check on Haley. It would have been more believable. And totally! They should have made her related to Skills somehow.

See! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thought that. It would have made so much sense. She was Haley's neighbor, it seemed their families were super close, and since we know that Lucas, Skills, and Haley etc were all part of the RC group growing up, it would have been so easy to tie Marion to Skills. That would have allowed us to potentially get some awesome Marion/Haley scenes when Haley's parents were missing in action. It would have made so much sense. Oh, wells. LOL.

Umm, and seriously! How come that Deb/Haley scene was deleted? Did anyone else watch that?

OMG I am such a huge fan of Marion. LOL She cracked me up so bad. I love when we see her in fics. She's simply hilarious. I always thought she was Haley's mom when we first saw her. LOL Either way, the actress was so awesome and she clicked instantly with James, Joy and Haley's parents, who I also would LOVE to see again. They did NOT disappoint.

So true. Marion really was a cool addition. I still don't get why they didn't make her related to Skills. So silly! LOL.

I really wonder the extent of what we'll see with Haley and any adult interaction this season. Ya know? I mean, now that the kids are supposed to be all grown up... How much of any of the older characters will we really see? I really do like when we get to see glimpses of Haley with Karen, Whitey, Dan, Deb etc.... So, I hope we get that at least a couple of times this season. I really do.

That's what I was wondering as well Krys. I'm truly hoping that we will still get to see the older characters in general and specifically with Haley. I truly enjoyed the Haley/Whitey scenes that we got last season and Haley/Karen scenes are always to die for, and there's so much that Karen can teach Haley. It would be really nice to see them together with Lilly and Jamie.

Is she? Hm. I may be way off, but I've always thought she had a bit of Spanish in her. Or maybe that's just me wishing we had another thing in common.

But seriously, when I first saw her on OTH, I thought she was at least part Spanish.

I'm so OT. Anyways, I think Haley has the best interactions with the adults. That's due to Joie's awesomeness, I'm sure though.
