Also loved how Haley was listening to her parent's conversation, like I said on the N/H thread here, I can now see why Haley turned out to be the person she is....cause of her parents.

Btw, great casting on her mom and dad.

Joie looked so beautiful throughout the episode especially at her wedding.

I wished I looked that beautiful in the morning, but I wish alot of things (james) She was awesome in this episode I especially loved her facial expressions. But I am so excited about next week when she tells Deb off, cause no one talks to Haley Scott like that.

I love her voice when she said the vows. Her voice is so soothing.

Did you notice when her mom said, "like getting to the point of this conversation," she had the funniest expression. She shakes her head, like "my parents are nuttier than me." I love those little things Joie does. I'm not sure if it's something Joie adds or is scripted. I also love the way she bites her lip when she says "yeah" after Nathan says "let's always be like this."

I love the noise she makes when Nathan reaches over for the phone. I bet if I tried to make a noise like that, it'd turn out retarded.

You know what's funny. In GL Michelle and Danny ALWAYS got interupted by the phone while trying to get it on. And Joie always made those cute noises like "Oh hell, don't answer that!". It's so cute. And then she did it again in this ep.

Good Morning

The premiere episode was very good and of course I loved all the N/H scenes. I loved the humor, the angst, and the sexyness portrayed by N/H.

The great thing about this episode was the way we got a glimpe of Haley James' home life. She always been described as quirky, funny, smart and strong and judging by the casting of her parents we can see why. It's apparent that she has a great relationship with her parents judging by the way they trust her and respect her opinion and decisions. I liked how Ma' James describe her as "more mature that we are". You could see by Haley's facial expressions that most of the times she's exasperated with her parents twisted sense of humor.

Their household is in sharp contrast to the Scott, Sawyer and even the Roe homelife. I enjoyed every minute of their scenes, especially how easily Haley talked to her parents. I like to see more family dynamics in the show.

I was also happy that they showed a Karen/Haley scenes b/c their relationship is very important. Karen's is like a surrogate mother for Haley and of course her opinons matter so I was glad that although Karen had reservations for the marriage she supported Haley. The Karen/Haley scene was so different from Haley/Deb scene and the scenes with her parents resulting in some good moments and great acting from BJL.

dare, same here. And also when she says "yea we did get married" and then kisses Nathan's hand. The way her voice sounded was so cute and all full of giddyness.

I loved her parents so much and great casting on Mark's part.

Also I liked that scene where Ma' James smiles widely at N/H when Pa' James asks if Nathan found the door.
