I'm with the rest of you, I'm really interested in seeing how this friendship plays out on our screen. What we've seen thus far has me intrigued.

I like how they built Clay in as someone who has been around NHJ for a good while, as someone who knows them really well, and as some who loves them, too.

I mean, it shows in the little things, ya know? Like, the scene when Clay was telling Nathan to hurry up and get his commercial done so they could go and eat cake or it was going to be a... stormy night, stormy. Bwah. How well he knows Hales. LMFAO. I love how essentially said to Nathan in that moment, that if those two didn't show up at Jamie's birthday in a timely fashion, he knew that ish would not play well with our girl, and things would be stormy, indeed!

Love the nuances and the depth they've built in to developing these relationships. It really does help to create an instant familiarity and believability in Clay and his relationship with Hales, Nathan, Jamie, etc.

That's my thinking too, Clay is like a brother LOL. Joy/Rob have great chemistry. I loved when she playfully slapped him when he was talking about the girl/cake.

See, it's the little details like that which made him seem even more part of the family. He knows Haley very well indeed. Can't wait to see more scene with them two. I was actually kinda bummed to hear there wasn't a scene in 7.02, but I'm hopeful we will get more during the season.

I loved the scenes they got together in the 701!!! Even though I ship them as more than friends, I'm totally rooting for a Claley friendship on screen!
