You and me both. These were definitely a couple of my fave moments in the episode, too. Because the message that was being sent, and the picture being painted was so awesome. Us against the world. Seriously. It was just so easy to see how much these three these cared about each other in the midst of this crisis, regardless of anything else, nothing was able to outshine that they'd do just about anything for each other, and stand by each other through anything. Love, love, love.

Oh yeah I definitely don't compare them to NHL either but I have to say I am so so happy with this duo! The chemistry between them is really great and I think they did an excellent job with picking Rob for the role. It just makes me believe them on screen, that they are close, family and like I said before, I kinda think of Clay as a big brother for Haley. The protectiveness for the whole Scott family is great to see and I just HOPE we get more of these and I'd even love some background info on them.

Exactly. And I like how they aren't making Clay replace Lucas either. Yeah he's another male character who is close to both Nathan and Haley, but Clay is different. His motives, the way he acts, what he does, all different. I was scared at first that they were going to throw Clay into the mix and shove him in our faces so we'd love him, but they didn't. And it's great. I love that Clay is being all protective. And that no matter what happened that day, in the end he was still there for them. At the press conference, you could see it, it was the 3 of them together, verses everyone else.He reminds me of Jerry McGuire in a way. How he's a sports agent, but he really and truly cares about them and he's not just in it for the money and fame. I really love what they've they done so fr with these three, hopefully it continues!

Umm, and how much that we got scenes last night? So much.

I love that the show continues to show the type of bond that Clay has with Haley (and Nathan).

Clay was absolutely hilar when he looked over at Haley when she was having her similie/metaphor tutor girl moment. But, even with that he didn't miss a beat, and kept going. It just spoke of such a comfort and understanding and to how hugely he fits in that dynamic, and how well he knows her. Like, yeah... That's Haley. Bwah.

I also love that he's secure and comfortable enough with her/them that he can say things that others may not or would never feel comfortable doing, but he's close enough that he can. Like, when he was telling them how they couldn't lose faith in each other, I bought that he cared, bought that he meant it, and he said it with a conviction that was so sure. Not anyone could have said something like that to them, and it meant something, ya know? But, he knows them, he did, he could.

And! The moment scene when Haley was talking to him about how dark Nathan got last time, when Haley wanted to make sure Nathan's career was going to be in tact? MORE awesome. He knew she was on edge, he didn't care, he reassured Hales he wouldn't let anything happen to Nathan, just...

I continue to love that even when it's heavy, or tough, or not all sunshine and roses, Clay is right there, and not only is he there, he's supportive and seems to truly care. WIN. We now know that he's seen good, bad, fearful, snarky, and all of that, and he's still there with her/with them.

More Haley/Clay, please! More Nathan/Haley/Clay, please! Kthnx. LOL.

I lovedddd Haley's scene with Clay. When her voice cracked when she was telling him he didn't see how dark it got the last time when Nathan lost his dream. GAH. He really cares about this family, and I love that. I truly believe he's not going to let anything happen to NHJ or Nathan's career, and if anything does, Clay will do anything in his power to stop it.

Those caps! Thanks so much, Jess. Awesome. The emotion is just so apparent in them. How deeply and truly important this situation is to both of them, and how much they truly care.

And, yup, the way they've introduced Clay, in just these first six episodes, I totally buy that he meant what he said, he was not going to let anything happen, and I think it's true. I think he'd do anything to protect NHJ, keep their dreams safe, make sure they're happy, etc. He's honestly said it so many times, but he's also shown it, too. I love that!

I love that he knows their dreams, and he knows their life, and... Awesome. Another thing I adore? They don't have to tiptoe around each other. I love that they can fight, or seem harsh, or raise their voices, and... It's okay.

Oh, I love that, too. Clay is totally invested, and totally there. He's taking what Haley is saying to heart, no question. He's totally getting and understanding where she's coming from, and he was good about assuring her things were going to be okay, nothing was going to happen to Nathan.

I love episodes where we get scenes like this with the characters. Depth filled and emotional. Love.

I love Clay, I love him NHJ, but dude is like the worst agent ever LOL. He does try and his heart is in the right place, so that's something, LOL.

But yeah totally loving Haley/Clay. I want more, more and more.

Also I've jumped off the Quinn/Clay train. I shouldn't have brought a ticket so soon but I guess I liked the idea of them, but yeah, I'm just interested in seeing Clay with NHJ. Maybe when all this David stuff dies down and Shantel improves I might re consider.

But for now what matters the most to me is that Rob has genuine chemistry with NHJ, and I look forward to seeing them more.

Clay, Clay, Clay. I love you dude, but with all your don't worry I can handle it, I love NHJ, I will protect your career...*sigh*. More action, less talk Clay, LOL. I hope we get more HC scenes soon, I miss seeing their dynamic. I'm very interested to see where the HC/NHC go from here. I hope the writers do their friendships justice and if they tear it down...I hope they build it back up and Clay makes it up to them somehow.

And, wordy McWord to your entire post. I'm nervous, but looking for the drama if handled well. I really hope that the writers and show tread carefully in how they handle this story. I've fallen so in love with Clay, and his dynamic with NHJ, and I do believe he loves Hales, and Nathan, and Jamie, but he's completely mishandled Nathan's dream/job, in regards to being his agent.
