Thanks for posting the caps from the CW site showcasing Everly songs. That's really great for them to get that kind of promotion.

I hope they keep up with showing Haley/Joy actually recording songs. Instead of what happened last time.

^I think this is a legit part of Haley's story, and I think it's a committed story this season. Like, the real deal. I can't see this going the way of prior seasons where they talk about it, but don't show it, and don't really focus on it. Not at all. Not even a little or sort of. I think we've got every reason to be optimistic this season. What with them wrapping up Haley's teaching story last season, Miranda being on the scene, and RBR still being in existence, and Haley being a huge part of it, etc.

This. All of this. I agree so much. It was kind of like they'd talk about it in previous seasons. All... How's the album coming? How was your day at RBR? Were you able to...? How is that song going? But, it was kind of just like lip-service, instead of going full throttle and committing to telling AND showing the story of Haley and music. It was sort of stalled or, I don't know. Just there. That, luckily for us seems to be the furthest thing from the case this season. They're saying it, they're showing it, we're seeing it. AMEN. And, you and me both. Won't complain at all. Hee.

Oh definitely and here lies the big potential of MAYBE seeing Haley sing more and getting more Joy/Everly related songs. I took Quicksand in the very first episode already as a good sign so I hope they keep on delivering more songs! I know, I know I'm greedy but can you blame me, seriously?! They have done so well already and the songs would benefit the show as well. Fans love Everly and they have already hinted a couple of times this season that Haley is working on it...Haley is doing a CD...etc etc so let's keep our fingers crossed!

I'm very excited for her music storyline. I hope after the scandal is done and over with, we can see Haley back in the studio. And if we get more songs from her, that's a huge plus. LOL.

So true! What was the point of Peyton having such a huge studio when we never got to see anything? Well hardly at least LOL. They spent so much time on Mia but what about Haley??? In the previous Seasons when Haley was working on something they never fully focused on that :/ I was stoked when they showed her recording in the premiere. So when 6 months rolls around they better do the whole process with recording the album and show us everything.

^Well Peyton had the studio for her own reasons. She didn't open it up for Haley, she opened it up to get away from the major labels and start her own label doing what she wanted to do. I get that, I just don't get when they said Haley was recording, but never showed it. Or had Haley have scenes in RBR to make it seem like she was there, but really she was just helping Peyton with her Lucas issues (in season 5), or helping Mia with her Chase issues, or just going there to look like she was doing something when she wasn't. And then they would talk about Haley's music and we'd all be like "Uh what?" We never saw that." LOL. But this season already seems different with Miranda and all, so I'm kind of excited. And I'm one who doesn't usually like the music storyline.

OK and I was agreeing with you LOL. I was just referring to the amount of time they spent promoting other artists such as Mia but they really never did that with Haley. I see that changing this Season so I`m happy.

Anyways, I totes forget this was the Everly thread with all the Haley/RBR talk going on. I can't wait to see Everly's website! I wonder if it's gonna be done soon. They've been talking about it for a while now.

I just keep waiting for Twitter/Facebook updates because I'm sure when the website does go up they'll let us know on there. And the merchhhhhhh! I've been thinking about what they're going to sell all summer.

The twitter/facebook updates tend to get lost in my news feed/homepage so I don't ever trust myself to see them

I wish there was a way you could get them to stand out, like have them come up in bold or something.

I'll explain to you on AIM on day, LOL. But it's so much easier. That way whenever they update I'll know right away if I'm away from my computer. Can't miss those Everly tweets! Though if the website does go up when I'm not near a computer, and I get the tweet sent to my phone, I'll be ITCHING to leave wherever I am to go check it.

That's true though, if I got that update and I couldn't get on the internet, I'd be dying. I hate being away from the internet even just for a few hours when nothing is going on, imagine with that knowledge of the site? Torture.
